trouble sleeping?

Anyone else have trouble sleeping the night before your trip? I always plan on going to bed at a reasonable hour so that I am rested for the trip but end up not getting to sleep till the wee hours of the morning. Guess tonight will be no different.

 

Every. Time.

 

Not me, I'm tying my hardest to stay awake right now and if I go to bed now I'll be wide awake at like 5AM and I don't want that.

 

I used to have troubles with sleeping the night before but now ensure I pack, do laundry, and clean the house the night before so that when I go to bed, I'm tired. Funny..I tell my wife all the time, I really don't care if I can sleep the night before because I never mind getting out of bed to fly to Vegas. Ever. Not sleeping just prolongs the anticipation which is my favourite part of any trip. I like being there but love the lead up even more.

I'm still 2 weeks out and having trouble sleeping, working, exercising, eating...... Lol

 

i leave next sunday. I'm already packed LOL. for sure i'll only get a couple of hours sleep. I drive, and like to leave early (5am ish) so i can see the sun rise while i'm driving in the desert. Amazing!

 

If I have an early morning flight I bately sleep a wink for fear of sleeping in and missing my flight.

 

My last trip wasn't hard. I worked from 8pm to 7am. And had to be at the airport at 4pm. So, I came home, and crashed. But, yeah, I was packed a week before the trip. And, my co-workers hated me. I was giving them a hourly countdown.
