After a big meal (say, Bacchanal buffet...) a liqueur is very appealing. What have you been able to get on the main casino floor (not high limit room)?

I have had Irish cream (supposedly Bailey's, probably not) and amaretto (supposedly Disaronno, probably not).

Any chance I could get Grand Marnier? Cuarenta y Tres? Or my new discovery, the even more expensive Drambuie? (And how about a Rusty Nail?)

Depends how much you are betting and what casino.

Fair enough. I play $10-$15 blackjack and quarter video poker, mostly. I generally inhabit center strip from Aria to Caesars on the west side, Planet Hollywood up to Harrah's on the east side!

(And for what it's worth I'm platinum at CET, because of the credit card. (See other threads about that whole issue.) I only mention it because twice at CET properties I've been told by CWs that you need to be platinum to get a "premium" drink comped. I believe it was "Disaronno" at Harrah's LV and Jagermeister at Harrah's New Orleans.)

But I'd be interested at people's experiences at other places, too--just to give me an idea of the possibilities.

I routinely comp Bailey's at Aria's casino floor as well as higher-end wines by the glass from the restaurants (not the casino wine).

I'm generally a mid-week, daytime, $50 BJ player...so find myself in a position to actually negotiate with CW's and PB's on these things. I tip generously ($5 to $20 per drink, depending on circumstance)
The CW's are starting to recognize me now and know the drill for fetching wine from the restaurants.

IMO, if you can, it helps to work the people, not just the comp.

It seems the nicer casinos seem to be better in giving you what you ask for... For example at Cosmo I know I can get Makers and I know it is makers, at Flamingo sometimes I got sometimes I had to get Wild Turkey if waitress enforced the policy (This is before the charge for premium drinks they now have)

Funny once at Rio I was told they do not have Makers, so I ordered a Turkey, the next night I was told they do not have Turkey is Makers ok?

They look at the card status and your bets and decide if you can have high end stuff. I drink Don Julio and Red Bull, double and tall all night. They always check the card, first time.

Just to add, often they'll have to find either the Don Julio or the Red Bull. If I tell them I'll just take something else, they insist on bringing me what I want.

well, if you tip the waitress well before ordering you will probably get just about anything you want.
