Received in my email this morning:

    --------------------------------------------------------

I sent him my match offers from mLife and the D just to see where this goes. To be completely honest, SLS is not really "my style", but it might be an interesting change of pace.

Pretty good marketing tool. Now through Dec 28 is also the one of slowest time of year for Vegas resorts..

im taking them up on this offer, likely going to short them as its not in my usual "spots"

I used a terrace one bedroom cosmo offer, so I will see how "basic" of a room im going to get. Im letting the freeplay and food go.

I ended up in a lux tower king, posted pics in the packer group trip report.
    Don't like the casino much.

Exactly my thoughts. It's kind of small for my taste. There are plenty of dining options, thought. May try the "Bazaar Meat" restaurant in January.

I appreciate those pics. I get a similar offer as you from Cosmo but for a terrace studio which I actually like over the terrace 1 bedroom. I toyed with the idea of getting an offer match somewhere but the location of SLS does nothing for me. I might drop in for a bit in a couple of months burnout won't hurt my feelings if I dont. I had plans for linq and High Roller last time and still didn't make it.

I basically checked in at 8am, dropped off my backpack. played for about 1 hour. it was dead inside. It just wasn't "exciting" Only slept in the room for 4 hours before checking out. Maybe gave them 1.5 hours of play max.
Most people will burn this bridge, but they are hurting for players. Its just not a "players" type of place.

I bet they will need tons of hit and run play from the club goers but that's just weekend. They are not even busy enough to have cabs waiting there. They need to call one in.

Wow. That's mind boggling. If I hit it up I was considering using the monorail to get there and then cabbing it downtown from there.

I got mine from pphold. I didn't ask for freeplay or food as I had a feeling it was going to be a short play trip

I found it funny that within 3 days of me joining their players club, I was already getting comp offers. I literally played there for an hour, playing $15 a hand blackjack just to say I've played there. I think I left up $50. I couldn't imagine staying here, just isn't my type of place.

What were the offers? I'm thinking about where to play during my upcoming trip.

    Her name is Laura Goldstein.
I got the same hookup as FK...Lux Tower King Suite.
It was pretty nice, but then again, I'm pretty easy to please.

I emailed her in the past, but decided to go with another offer. She will match, but you need to send a scan of a mailer or forward an email offer.

I just sent her an email looking for an offer match for the first 3 nights of December. I wouldn't mind saving my December marketing offers from Boyd just in case I need them later.

Anyone who wants her work email can PM me. I don't feel comfortable just posting it without her permission.

For the offer match do you need to play there first? I'm asking because I'm going to Vegas tomorrow for literally 22 hours. With FSP from GGWU and my regular monthly FSP offer + "free"/diamond aspiration RT airfare (that I otherwise wouldn't use before March 31st) I decided to fly out in the hopes of doubling my FSP (and yes, I'm flying from the East Coast). I play it through JoB rather than my normal Double STP DDB, my favorite game.

I'll be back for a long trip at the end of the month and would love a match offer to use then. I am wondering if I need to play there for an hour or so this Saturday and see if I can get the match offer or whether that is not required?

I was there the day they opened but the line was WAY too long to wait to sign up to get a player's card so I didn't.

I think the idea of the MATCH offer is to get players in the door. Once you have played there, you are then rated, and offers will reflect that play.

Okay. I'll give it a shot. The worst they can say is no. I have a CET FSP offer for $700 in December so it is worth it for me to at least ask!
