Pedialyte powder or bottle???

Grabbing supplies today. Hows the powder?

 

The powder works pretty well in my opinion. I used it every morning on my last trip.

 

Does it work better than Gatorade? I usually drink a couple bottles of Gatorade before bed in Vegas after a long day of drinking.

 

I grabbed a bottle last year on my June trip but never used it so brought it home to Scotland with me, after a particularly heavy night out I thought i'd try this out. Big mistake, its absolutely disgusting and tasted like melted marzipan, cured my hangover though as I was sick as a dog after drinking it lol.

I just bought the first bottle I saw, in Walgreens i think, but is there more than one flavour of Pedialyte?

 

We do the powdered stuff since it's lighter and smaller.

 

Powder is much easier to just toss in your bag. I personally think it works like a dream. I typically go in the summer and spend all day drinking at the pool, so I downed a 20 or 32oz Gatorade with a packet of Pedialyte 2 or 3x a day. I felt great throughout my trip.

 

Powder all the way! much easier to pack...just mix into a bottle of water and chug before bed, wake up feeling great!

LIFE SAVER my last trip. Was out till 6am drinking up a storm, pounded some pedialyte before passing out, woke up at 11am feeling good as new, then hit it hard again!


Its better than gatorade because it has less sugar but still loads of electrolytes

 

The powder definitely. It is hard for me to find around here so I actually have to order it from Drugstore.com. I imagine that the liquid would probably be found at any CVS or Walgreens in Vegas though.

I don't really like all of the powder flavors. Maybe I should start a Pedialyte powder packs swapping post. :evillaugh

Powder +1. Easy to store and 5 secs of crap taste > hangover. I wash it down with a packet of Emergen-C.

 

Agreed... and the apple flavor IS the worst of them.

 

Another vote for Apple being the shittiest of them all. I save those for last and only drink them if I'm really desperate.

 

I found stuff at my pharmacy called Hydralite and it's for adults. Came in a powder. I bought a box but didn't need it because I can't drink on my new meds. I could have used it at home a few times but I don't like to use my Vegas supplies for home.

 

LOL... I have like six-(6) of the Apple's left in my bag and needed a couple of them after my last night in San Francisco last week!

 

I will experiment this weekend with both and report back.

I tried this stuff after reading about it on here, I got the powder and I have to say it does work I felt better than usual after drinking it everyday.
