Yes, I like it. Makes sense but that 4th bet if you had 3 losses takes guts. Even after 2 losses that 3rd wager is tough also because you are putting a lot out to basically break even. this goes back to what I always say, the little ball has no idea it just beat you 2, 3 or 4 times in a row. The little ball has no idea you just won 3 in a row. Even though it is a 1 in 81 chance to lose again the shear randomness of each roll means you can throw the 1 in 81 time out the window... That being said and the degen I am, IM GOING FOR IT IN 7 DAYS!!!15k to the roulette table here I come!!!

    Hahaha!
If you start with 500+1500....each winning spin gets you $1000.
I have personally benefited from winning streaks of 10, 12 and 14 in a row, and streaks of 4 to 8 are very common.

Also, if you are feeling lucky, you can put 3300+9900 (the limit at the Cosmo), and each winning spin will win you $6600.
Do this ONCE, then just play with the $6600.

Brilliant report Triple. It was a pleasure reading it. So glad it ended on a happy note.

Just wanted to comment on the poster's system and people's comments about it.

I think both sides can be "right" in this situation. I can see where anyone owning a casino loves a Martingale-style system. I personally employ a less well-defined version of the Martingale. I know full well it will produce outsized losses on occasion.

The reason I like this kind of system is simple, I over value a small "winning" trip in comparison to a similar sized losing trip. Specifically I gain value in the satisfaction of booking 4 $2,000 winning trips and having 1 $10,000 losing trip over having $2,000 losing trips and a $10,000 winning trip. Logically it makes no sense, but emotionally, and psychologically, I am a "winner" 4 times even though I may come out behind overall.

It's like the time my son preferred 4 $1 bills over a single $5 bill. I guess its just the way some people are wired. You would think being somewhat math savvy would make a difference. But it doesn't.

So in conclusion I think its a win-win situation for the poster to employ a system he enjoys, and the casino doesn't mind the occasional big win. I don't think its too unusual either, as Steve Cyr referenced in his book, so many of his players like to "Eat like birds, but shit like elephants."

    Hey it's all good!
We live in a great country and everyone can bet anyway they want to.

I know I shouldn't bet on the field because it is mathematically disadvantageous but it's my right to do so.

Similarly, I won't criticize how other people bet, including shifter's betting strategy because he/she has a right to do whatever with his/her money.

But if pushed, I can discuss with anyone about the merits and pitfalls of any system because of my own personal experience and analysis and extensive reading. In the end only the Wizard of Odds is correct in his unbiased calculation of the odds for each gambling system. And he says all these games are a losing proposition, no matter how you structure your bets. Betting systems thus neither hurt or harm you in the long term.
He gives a great example of a system where you just make a field bet and let it ride until you lose. Even this crazy system will give you a payoff if you hit that lucky streak of 20 straight field bets in a row!

Is your strategy the same as putting 2 units on 2 of the outside 2:1 bets (4 unit total) covering 24 numbers. You get half your bet back when 0 lands since this is an outside bet (2:1), is this right? When you win, you +2 units.

Sorry. I'm not a big roulette player. This is usually how I play roulette. I may try your bet without the negative progression.

No unfortunately these 2:1 bets don't get you the half back if the zero hits. That's why the 1+3 system is better because you do get half back on the 3 units if a zero comes up.

Pay, that makes total sense. I'm jumping on your method next time I play without the negative progression. Save me 1.5 units when 0 hits. I like it

Awesome trip report and photos. Thanks for posting.

I love your betting style but $500 on a two-team parlay to win $623?? That's a risky bet for such a small return.

I've been "long-hauled" twice on limos at the Monte Carlo and Vdara. Apparently, it's easier to get there in the back off the highway.

A couple of years ago, I booked and paid $400 for a wrap-around suite at Cosmo with Strip View. A friend's friend wanted to borrow it to entertain a stripper he met from Little Darlings. I said no friggin way.

Also, blonde college girls. Doesn't get any better than that.

We'll stop trying to score when the other team stops trying to score.

Usually they stop trying to score when I need one more point to cover.

Isn't he buying the money line so just needs a straight win rather than against the spread, hence the lower payoff?

Yes, I never bet the spread just the money line. At the time of the bet, the Cavs were favorites because they had a great preseason with the highest offensive efficiency rating. So much for preseason results.....

Start to finish, top to bottom, just a fantastic report, PT. I call this a "good envy" because while I don't play at that level, I love living vicariously through a well-written report. And, it gets me jacked up for own trip. (SO CLOSE now!)

Great read PT. I didn't want to post until the conclusion. I don't read many TR, but really enjoyed this one!

I have bet money line on games but only on one game. Never tried a parlay with moneyline odds and it was definitely shocking the Knicks beat the Cavs. The problem I have with a two-team parlay is you just doubled the risk with very little payout getting moneyline odds. A typical two-team parlay with the spread would pay 13/5. It seems like you were only getting a little over 1.2/5 with moneyline odds. If you were going to parlay, I would want to aim for a decent payout if I won.

Your Patriots can have the win now as my Broncos will beat them in January when it really counts
