I am planning a trip to Cosmo on Jan 28-29. I have contacted them for the casino rate and got it, but there were no offers (usually some buffet comps and $50 RC) for any dates after December 31st for me. Do we know when the new offer dates might turn up?

There are a few Cosmo threads with similar questions and honestly the answers vary. Me and my girlfriend generally get our emails same day with mine being the FP and Comps and hers being just a free buffet or whatever. Your best bet is to look back over your emails from them and you are likely to find a pattern and predict when the next offer is.

Also in my experience, they won't let you add on an offer and they make you re-book the room, usually at a higher rate. There was one time where it worked out in my favor with the resort credit.

Your offers may not be any better because you hit gold. Offers are generally tied to ADT/Theo stuff.

    This is true.

I have offers which are valid in January which were emailed to me last week. Just wait, I'm sure they will come.

I called the vip number the other day and booked one of my free nights due to being gold and asked about a casino rate but the lady on the phone gave me the same rates as what I found on their website. Did you go through a host for these rates? What rate did you get? My latest offer only goes thru January 28 and I need dates for the week after. Argh.

Seems like everyone's offers here all cover slightly different dates. I hope to get an updated offer in a couple of weeks.

Same thing goes for me. I have had several trips over the past 2 years to Cosmo, most of which involved little play. Last trip me and my group put through some pretty good slot play and my email included a little more resort credit $150 vs $50, but still the standard 2 buffets and $25FP and rack rates Sheesh - at least offer a discount on the room! They must be averaging in past trips which probably botches up my numbers. I am Gold as well, but a lot comes from resort spend - so it is understandable.

Either way, I booked one of their online deals (Buy 2 Get 1 Free/ 33% off per night) and had them add the goodies from the email to the discounted room rate. I had to talk to someone at the host desk because reservations knows nothing..

I have always got offers each month. Usually a week or so before the previous offer expires

Have you received offers in the past?

This has always been my experience as well. Today I received a snail-mail letter from a Cosmo host asking me to give him a call next time in town. I have been receiving these offers since they opened but this is a first for any contact from a host. Oh, and I am not a High Roller.

I end up getting mine about 8 or so weeks before the booking window starts and then a reminder if I haven't booked about a month before. Seems like booking windows and lead times are all over the place. The one consistent thing is they seem to come on Tuesdays via email. I should be getting one covering super bowl time either tomorrow or next week I'm hoping.

RiddickBull- I get my offers monthly too.....but when I look back at them now, there is sometimes a gap between dates that isn't covered. My last offer expired Nov 5th, and I don't have an offer yet. Did you get one that covers any dates in December if you don't mind my asking, and if so, what dates were they? I know the Rodeo finals wrap up and I see Cosmo is sold out many of the nights. I used gold nights through my host to cover Dec 5 & 6th immediately following the sold out rodeo dates. I'm starting to think I may not get any offer for my dates, which would mean no free play - which would suck! I'm just wondering as when I finished off my last trip my host said based on my play, my offers would go way up, yet, 2 days after returning my free play went down from 570 to 535, and now I don't have any offer at all yet. Yikes!

Yes I do. My promo chips went down after low playing them last trip when I got my brother a room. Not sure if it's the month but I think it's the low play.

Hmmm.....thanks a bunch, it gives me some hope that I may still get something for my dates. I'm certain that the offers are impacted by the occupancy rate, fingers crossed that's the case for the both of us!

I'm kind of in the same boat with the others. I received a 2 night stay with some identity play that I wanted to use but the offer is good thru January 21st. I'm heading out the following week. Anyone have a contact in VIP services at the Cosmo they can suggest who may be able to extend this offer by a week? I'd appreciate it if you would pm their email & phone info.

I've never had any luck with them extending an offer past its valid dates. In fact I tired it last week when I booked one of my gold tier nights just to lock in a night as it was going to be an expensive night. Low and behold, this morning I received a new offer covering jan 29 thru March 25. I've got an emailed drafted to a host right now. So unless you're a big enough player, they typically don't extend the offer periods. But today is Tuesday and that's when the offer emails come out.
