Hello, I'm getting back into niteclubs after several years away. I was at xs on Friday and noticed a new demographic that I didn't see several years ago. I saw 2 packs of short Indian guys. They were pretty aggressive towards the ladies too. When did this niteclub demographic start to emerge in the u.s. (west/west coast) and vegas specifically?

You saw 2 groups and you think it's now a trend?

Don't you understand how statistics work in America? This isn't just a trend, it's an EPIDEMIC!

College crowds. Young professionals. Working class. Retired people. Blue collar. White collar. To me these are examples of demographics I would think pertains to nightclubs.

Why are you concerned about "2 groups of short, Indian guys"? Why does this matter? To me, who cares? So what if they were aggressive to the ladies. You're in a nightclub, no?

I am not even sure what demographic you're referring to? Indian-Americans? Short people? Dudes who aggressively hit on women? If its one of the first two, why do you care (even if its a trend)? And if its the last one, I think we all know dudes have been hitting on women in clubs since, well, forever

You always have foreign groups that think either their money can buy any women or they can talk and treat women however. I have seen that since studio 54 days

The ratio of men to women in the Asian group is skewed very heavily in the US

If you start seeing packs of 6 foot 8 Indian guys, we may have to look into it.

LOL yeah a group of really tall indian dudes might be a rarity, but saying "short indian" is a bit redundant. :poke:

I don't know why it would be different out there, here in NY seeing groups of indian guys and girls at the top clubs is normal. Same with other Asian groups, basically any group where you have a lot of young professionals.

foreign born indians and muslims tend to be more traditional to their culture than other foreign born cultures. there are one offs of course. in ny/nj you are much more likely to hear an indian with a us accent than in any other part of the country meaning that they are more enculturated.

I don't even know how to respond to this because it comes across like you're so oblivious to reality. Its the type of thing you hear from people who know nothing outside of their small monoculture town, which is a bit unusual for this board.

I dispute this statement. You can't tell me that one foreign born culture is "more traditional" than any other because it is simply not true, from my experience interacting with people from many different types of "foreign born cultures".
