does it make sense to take a gf to a niteclub as ga?

Hello, does it make sense to take a gf to a niteclub as ga? At least 20+ guys on the floor will try to hit on her/grind her. What has been your experience with this?

 

The question is do you want to go to a nightclub or not.

If you go, then that might happen... but what were you thinking of otherwise? Getting a table and then telling her to sit there and she can't move all night?

 

@auggie - I haven't done this - only observed - and got twerked by - other guys girlfriends.

 

Sorry but, what does ga means?

 

ga = general admission

not bottle/table service

 

really you have to ask yourself what you are going there for

1. can't your GF learn the phrase "go away loser you look like a tool" or something similar or even better she can ask them for a drink, watch it poured (to make sure nothing is "added") and then walk off with you

2. are you going there to dance and "club" or are you going there to see a particular artist or are you going there to mainly drink

if you are actually going there to dance then you probably want to read the reviews especially of the more "popular" (loser stuffed) clubs and you will realize that many of them especially on nights with with a major artist have no dancing they have masses of losers stuffed nuts to butts on a dance floor holding their phones in the air "viddin' it" like a buffoon and the best dancing you can hope for is like the "baby don't hurt me" skits on SNL where the morons surround your GF and hump her like a horny rabid dog and probably one will be reaching in her purse to steal her phone and money

so if you actually just want to dance and you can do so to an MP3 track or to a random "DJ" with an MP3 track and you do not need to see the major artist with an MP3 player then choose a club on an "off night" that is less "popular"

if you are just going to drink unless you have money to just light on fire and you are a glutton for poor service, bad drinks and high prices why would you choose any major nightclub in Vegas.....most are set up so that you will have no table (and you are suppose to act like you like that) and no place to even sit and many no place to even stand still to drink your drink and you will have to get nuts to butts to even get a drink and probably throw an elbow or two like a top NBA rebounder to get one in a timely fashion......then you get the $60 dollar tab for two cran and kettles (with popov from a gun actually poured) and you can walk around getting crashed into by others while wondering where you can consume what is left of your drink.... and this as you as the holder of a male "unit" probably had to pay $100 bucks to get in the door in under an hour and your female accomplice paid $30 because she was not willing to be let in for free alone while you waited outside for 2.5 hours to pay $100 to get in as now unaccompanied male

if you are going there to see a particular artist then really sadly if it is a major artist you can either be prepared to stand in a mass of nuts to butts dude brahs holding their phones like a moron while watching your wallet and your GFs purse to make sure no one digs in it and you can probably forget getting a drink once the show starts and if you want to get in without paying $100 for you and $50 for her to some meathead at the door you can count on being there for 3-4 hours wondering around with no place to sit and trying to avoid drinking too much and having your first taste of claustrophobia while aimlessly wandering around the club and up and down stairs and waiting on the fashionably late "artist" to come on at 2:15 am

I am sure some may come here and wow you with their tales of how Jack Colton himself personally walked them into the club for free right past the line of 2,000 that had been waiting for hours to see Aoki and Tiesto and all you have to do is just pay the $18.75 to get in the door and the $195 for a table and you will have a "killer" time all night with great service and drinks for under $1,000 but the reality is those 8 people on earth that have had that actually happen are 8 out of 6 billion and everyone else actually paid $300 each at the door to pass the line and $4,500 for a table and their bill was padded with another $4,500 in mystery charges and their drinks were "bussed up" while half full, their GF had her purse stolen, their table was given away when they left it empty while some were on the dance floor and others went to the bathroom and when they complained two were tossed by bouncers for being drunk and the others were ready to pass out and had already lost one of their high heals the had removed to navigate the stairs so they left 20 minutes into the Aoki set and never saw Tiesto except for their one friend that had passed out in the toilet stall that recorded it after he woke up and recorded it so they watched that

either step up, spend the big cash, accept the unacceptable service that comes with that or choose your club wisely and if you must see a particular artist them prepare to still pay and prep yourself like you are going to a combination of burning man meets EDM lollapalooza with all the lack of comfort and scams of both and none of the "classy club vide" that you might expect for the money spent

as for actually hitting on your GF unless your GF just gets picked up on by random males right in front of you I would be less concerned about that VS her just being crushed by the masses stuffed on the dance floor and being groped repeatedly and having items pilfered from her purse while you both wonder if you will ever get back on the dance floor if you wade over to the drink line to get groped on more while waiting to get ripped off by the actual employees with a padded tab

Now, if somebody could explain why people continue to put up with this crap, they might win a Nobel prize or something.

 

Lol @ "someone", probably the funniest post I have read here and I'm sure that even through the sarcasm there is a huge amount of this that is true and makes me glad I'm too old to want to got to these "trendy" clubs.

I've gone GA to Marquee and Haze. Never had any guys hitting on my girl in front of me. 95% of the time we were on the dance floor. They have hit on her in the casino's thou when I am not around.

 

Smartone - lol that was a damn good TR of a nightclub experience. I'm also stealing "nuts to butts" for my own use.
