Mattie Ice. What a joke to be on that list. He should be around 99.

It says it at the top but not very clearly. The first is total pay, and then that's broken down into salary/winnings, and endorsements. That in itself is interesting; for a lot of these guys, the vast majority of their money comes from endorsements, not the sport itself.

Maybe no one thinks the pound for pound toughest coward in the world would make for a good spokesman.

Ha, I think there are definitely some substantial reasons why companies wouldn't want him as the face of their brand, particularly the long history of domestic violence issues.

Not to mention, I like to think I have a pretty good work ethic, but if I made $105 million from my main job alone, I don't think I'd feel the need to go out and supplement it with TV appearances or whatever else that might entail!

Totally agree that Mayweather doesn't have the greatest image...like you said due to the domestic violence issues. I just figued any boxing company would want him to endore there stuff since he is the greatest boxer alive, so the fact that he has ZERO endorsement was shocking to me.

If ruralhipster was referring to the domestic violence with their "coward" comment, than I missed that point.

I interpreted the "coward" comment aimed toward Mayweather's boxing style...there are many boxing fans that want to see brutal, bloody battles ending with a grouesome knockouts and they cant appreciate the skill involved in going 12 rounds without barely getting hit, and leaving the ring with no evidence they were even in a match.

Funny, except for #s 3, 5, 6, 8 & 10 on that list. I would probably turn to my wife and say "is he somebody"?
Also not sure I would recognize Matt Ryan if he wasn't in uniform.

I see him posting Gulfstream pics on his InstaGram every once and awhile. I know every tv special I see on him they always mention his Gulfstream several times.

But, to your point, I have not seen any commercials featuring him like I do Lebron, Kobe, Phelps, etc...

I'd think it would be based on the fact he'll evidently gladly fight any man, woman or child*

Other than himself and his winning sports bet tickets... absolutely nothing.

How the heck does Matt Ryan earn more than Peyton Manning? Is there any commercial Peyton ever said no to?
