Your room at the SLS in the LUX tower looked nice. I was glad to hear a positive review of the place. I liked it when I stopped in Umami burger for lunch in Sept. May I ask when you set up the offer match from SLS? Some are saying it is no longer being done. I'd still like to do it if possible on my next trip, and frankly I would stay there for 1 night and give them some play.

The place was great. Small and did not feel very Vegasy but nice and easy to get around in. I liked it and I would stay there again. Monorail tickets are $5.00 to get there from the strip and they will give you $5.00 in free play if you give them your ticket. I should have pointed that out in my review.

As for the match play it was a complete pain in the ass!

I tried back in Sept. My CET offer was for $450 in free play. Host said they would match as long as I sent them an email with it, the only email I had was for October that included the $450 in free play plus a slot tourney. She said she would get me the free play with no stay since i already had a room booked that trip. I said matching the FP would get me in the door and I'll check it out. Give her all my info for a card and 3 days go by and she says I need to stay with them. I said fine, I'll double book and give her a days worth of play. 3 more days go by and she said her boss needs me to send her an offer thats good in Sept, not Oct.

By now I'm getting a little fed up. I say, nicely, that was the only offer I had in an email, my online account has a ton of offers. But what I sent her should be proof of what other casinos in town rate me with. 2 days go by and my trip is upcoming and they back out and tell me they wont match.

The host was nice about it and said they were flooded with people looking to get matched and promised she would try again with a current offer later...

Flash forward to October and she reaches out to me and asks if I still have interest in staying with her. I say I need my free play and tell her all I have is a screenshot of my Total reward account. She says she will make that work and she did. But it took almost 2 months and probably 30 emails to actually get things worked out!

Great TR. Congrats on the wins, always nice to go home with more money in your pocket than you had when you arrived :)

And what a beautiful baby you have. Enjoy all the moments, they'll be moving out before you know it.

    Thanks for sharing.

My kid is 1/2 Asian so I plan on her math skills and my gambling addiction to be the perfect partnership for counting cards. Thats why I'm exposing her young LOL!

The sad thing is we were really looking forward to this. The people working it seemed bored and that boredom made them a little grumpy. I read Yelp reviews about people being pushed around by all the security there and didnt think nothing of it. That was until I got there and didnt have a single person smile at us. They all just seemed pissed.

Usually when you walk by 20 people doing nothing with a baby singing baby songs in her adorable baby voice while talking to a stuffed Vegas Monkey someone would wave or smile. But nope.

It wasnt even that hot outside the day we went and it was still hot in our pod. I couldn't even imagine it during the summer. unless they only put on the AC during summer? Begining to end it was over an hour that we could have done something more with.

Grid Thanks for the TR. great reading and great lucky streak. I need one of those now.

I might have to switch to VP and slots. Think my bankroll would last longer but I would lose interest fast.
