    My Trip Report

I'm having my belated 30th birthday in Vegas. Sitting in the airport now waiting for my flight. Couldn't sleep at all, so on less than 2 hrs rest.

Plan so far is to land at Mccarran at 9 am, drop my bag off at the hotel desk, and sight see/casino hop until check-in at 3. Then a power nap followed by a club tour that I booked.

Denver. Decided to save money on the flight so I'm stuck with a 1hr layover in PHX. 50 minutes until takeoff and now I'm really wishing I had taken a smoke break before going through security. ..

Thanks! Just walked from one end of PHX to the other. Not sure if it's just the lack of sleep or if this airport is ungodly long. Felt like I walked forever. Another 30 min wait then it's time to board.

PHX goes on forever. Save your walking energy for Vegas -- you'll need it.

Sitting on the shuttle, waiting for it to fill up. I must say, mccarran is efficient. I used the restroom and smoked, and when I got to the baggage carousel my bag was one of only 2 or 3 left!

Is this going to be a live TR? I really hope so because I always love reading TR's by Vegas virgins. Keep in mind, without realising it you'll probably do a lot of walking :)

Enjoy your trip. Looking forward to your adventures. Win big!!!

Good luck. One thing that's easier for rookies to do is to over do it. Relax, take it all in. Don't forget to get some singles for tips.

Vegas really knows how to move people in and out of that town. We were staying off strip at a time share one time, one that they rent out like a hotel room. From the time we landed, got our luggage, got the rental car, listened to the time share spiel and walked into our room was about 30-45 minutes.

Sorry to drop off the face of the earth yesterday. Played BJ and some slots at the wild wild west as wellbas the Luxor and Excalibur yesterday. Horrible night lost about $250. Went to the LAX night club for their costume party. That part was pretty fun.

This afternoon I decided to take up the Tropicana on their $200 losses return offer. Didn't have to use it. Tured 5 bucks into a hundred and left smiling.

Even if you're down, you should be smiling. It's a vacation after all. Good luck, and have some fun.
