Seems like interest in this discussion drops off each week. http://www.vegas.com/gaming/sportsline/football/

I'm not sold on either team, but if I were in Vegas tonight, I'd make a small play on the Saints -2.5, and even though I'm not convinced this is an over game, I'll go back to that well despite it biting me in the ass on Monday night.

I try to avoid road chalk but it looks like Graham is back and the Saints should light up the Panthers secondary

This is a hard game, as both teams have been extremely inconsistent. I'm staying away.

that's the smarter way to go, but since my action is theoretical, it's easier to pull the trigger. i wouldn't be betting the over on this game were i to be standing at a LV sports book right now.

This is the correct answer. The Saints blow on the road. The Panthers blow anywhere they play.

Too bad they don't have prostitutes playing. Hookers AND blow would actually make this game watchable.

But, you can't bet on inconsistent.

Huge Pats fan here but I'm going to bet $500 on the Broncos to hedge my emotional pain if the Pats lose.
In other words, I'd happily pay $500 to guarantee a Pats win.

The Jets are going to get raped. I'm going to get a handle of vodka from Costco so I don't have to suffer another miserable loss.

They do here in God's Country too, at least at locations where the city doesn't have a liquor monopoly. When it comes to liquor laws in MN, we're back asswards. We have big cities that own the off-sale liquor monopoly... great deal for taxpayers, at least those who don't buy alcohol.

As for tonight, it's looking like my "under" instinct is proving true... don't know why I didn't go with it when I wasn't convinced tonight is an "over" night.

Call it a wash for me tonight... I had no confidence in the over, but so many prime time games have been going that way... as I said, were I actually in Vegas, I wouldn't have been betting the O/U; but I would have made a play on NO.

Jags getting 11. AJ Green will be game time decision which means he will be limited
Jets getting 9.5 only because I am a lifelong Jets fan

I see the Jets getting 10. I actually really like the Jet +10. Vick is a MAJOR upgrade over Geno Smith. They might even win the game outright!

Go Pats! But if they lose, $333 will make me feel better.

The last time a Steeler/Raven game went over 47 points was in 2007. I'm taking the under.

For no other reason than following the trend, I'll chase the over 51 tonight.
