    My Trip Report

    The "Guys" trip....

Easy Sailing out of JFK on Virgin Non stop Friday AM, short taxi line on arrival, and quick trip to Caesar's. No check -in line. My Buddy was on a comp and hooked the rest of us up with a couple free nights.

My pal wound up with the Emperor Suite (aka the "Rainman" suite) in the Forum Tower; The rest of us got a two queen rooms in the same tower, all the updated rooms. Beautiful strip views. I was looking down on someone's apartment (??)

    tv in the mirror!

Caesar's gym is one of the best I have used in LV.

    Gambling...
Mostly VP, some college FB, hockey bets, blackjack...
I ran up 760 plus tier credits on VP alone (is that like $7500+ coin-in??)
Hit all my sports bets, including Notre Dame Covering the spread, the over on the boise st game and the Ducks in their home ice opener, last period comeback! I didnt bet Pro's although the one bet I liked I hesitated, and didnt play, oh well.

Blackjack, started the first night on a bad rules 3:2 table at Caesar's but won $490, then three other loosing sessions at good rules tables...go figure...

VP: started the trip hanging at the Sports book bar at Caesar's. My first time only playing DDB (its 8/5 there for 25c). I couldnt stop hitting 'em! Cashed out for $355 profit of one $20 bill!
    IMG_0757.jpg IMG_0758.jpg IMG_0759.jpg IMG_0760.jpg IMG_0761.jpg

The following morning I woke early (I never time-zone-adjust well), wandered down to find coffee...stopped in to Payard and had a $21 coffee, muffin and yogurt..and took my grub over to a bank of machines I read about on VPFree2. Sat down, and not fifteen minutes in, I was delt A-K-T clubs...if you were in the vicinity you heard a nut job (me!) scream YES! YES! YES!
IMG_0769.jpg i was shaking!! Called and texted everyone I knew that would care back home!

I broke even and lost here and there the rest of the trip; then on my last day, after my last loosing BJ session, I took the $30 (lost $270 of $300 at BJ) back to the same machine as above and put in $20...5 minutes later that $20 was $0, I reluctantly pulled out that last $10, and two spins in I get two Aces...recall the nut job from above??? well...lets meet him again!
    IMG_0781.jpg
I cashed out and was done gambling for the trip...$985 up! Best trip for me in a while...
Maybe my coin-in will get me some better rates for next trip..we will see...

    Food:

Old homestead Steak, everything excellent including the service, not my favorite steakhouse, but worthy
RAO's, my favorite was the Seafood Salad app, the meatballI got a piece of was good, but was disappointed in my Veal chop, which on first pass was overcooked and was sent back...
Mesa Grill..best of the Trip, pork tenderloin perfect, service spectacular, all apps wonderful, dessert wonderful, highly recommend.
    IMG_0779.jpg
lunches at Central (overprced), Beijing Noodle No 10, very good noodle soup, hits the spot after a night of hard drinking and Breakfast on a my Vegas 2:1 at Bellagio Buffet, was very good.

Shows, we got comp'd to Absinthe which I just saw in June...saw two different acts this time (I don't recall which two were "missing") but I imagine they must rotate some of the acts. Was just as good a second go-around!

Best thing was that my college roommate who doesn't live too far from my home, yet I never get to see him, was able to join us, and stayed with me, it was awesome to catch up and spend time with one of my closest friends in one of my favorite places!

Nothing else super-exciting to report, safe ride home (Jet Blue this time)..all in all a wonderful trip.

My buddies who golf got two nice outings comp'd that they raved about. (I dont golf)

    Any questions??

No great pics, it was dark and only one pic sort of came out ok...

To be honest, JD, it doesn't compare to the pics I have seen of your digs at MGM. It was nice, but a bit dated, doesnt look like it has changed much since "Rainman" the Kitchenette area was sparse. The nicest part was the view and the size of the rooms. I personally did not spend much time there, but they were swank quarters compared to where I usually stay, so nothing for me to snub...but just not compared to what other high rollers are used to.

Reading your report, sounds like we may have crossed paths once or twice....We were by Tap at MGM when you said you were there...we headed to PUB1842...I forgot to report on that...everyone loved their burgers there...
I will PM you the details of our "VIP" deal...not sure my buddy wants it public, I was just a happy benefactor.

here are some pics of the Emperor Suite one from the balcony and one of a bedroom

Nice hits! Congrats on your first royal. It's always nice to bring home some of their money. Or perhaps it was the money I left there a few months ago.

I can't quite figure out what your food picture is.

Very nice trip report. Glad you got that Royal :) I will be at Caesars 11/7-11/11 and even though I have played 900,000+ practice hands w/o a royal, you showed it IS possible when live. Wondering where that bank of slot machines is at Caesars?

As you walk out of the casino into the forum shops, just past a wall of construction where the food court was, look to your left. They are on the wall between the time share booth and the Hertz booth.
