Wow, the entire Ratso Rizzo vs. cab driver scene was ad-libbed! That's amazing.

"Jaws", the scene where Quint talks about the torpedo attack on the USS Indianapolis and the ensuing shark attacks. Robert Shaw (Quint) wrote the entire scene within an hour of it being filmed and his monologue was done in only one take.

This'll sound strange coming from a "macho guy" such as myself, but I really like the Pretty Woman movie. I enjoyed the part when he snap the boxed closed on Julia Roberts and like it says, her laugh was unexpected and genuine.

Hope + Crosby films had a lot of ad libs --
When you hear one of them bungle some words --
it usually means they were just thrown an ad lib line at them.
They kinda hem + haw for a split second - then say something.
    Funny as hell.

I don't know about most of, but #9 in the list points out that the Cinderella story was unscripted.

    Joe,
I just watched a anniversary show about Caddyshack.
They showed a script and most of the time -- under Bill Murray's character's name -
    the script was blank.
--- The gararge scene w/ Chevy + Bill wasn't even in the script --
they had to reshoot because the moneymen saw no scenes between the two.
---- Ted Knight would get pissed because of all the adlibbing. Rodney threw stuff out there, too.

Awesome scene. His monotone and demeanor is so realistic it takes you in the water with those poor souls......

The scene in Dumb and Dumber when Jim Carrey points at the Man on the Moon newspaper clipping and him yelling "we landed on the moon" was unscripted as well.
