What are your feelings on the Quad changing over to the Linq? Will it be better? Would you stay there? Will it compare to any Mlife hotels?

This seems to be a confusing question. The Quad is just rebranding as the Linq because 4 is an unlucky number in Chinese. Bad choice by CET to call it something associated with bad luck.

but then Mlife didn't do much better with the MGM lion. They had to change the façade because it wasn't good luck to be going into the mouth of the lion.

As for the OP's comment, it depends on what he means, is he just asking about the name change or the actual renovations from the IP to the Quad to the Linq?

I was under the impression that the rooms had again been renovated. If it’s only another name change that answers my question. Basically, I wanted to know if they have nice rooms. The majority of my stays have all been at Mlife properties. What Mlife hotel would compare to the newest remodel of Quad/Linq?

I personally have been a big fan of Harrahs but I have a feeling that once the room renovations are complete at the Linq it will be a superior property to stay at which I will consider switching to. They are slowly adding great restaurants such as Guys Kitchen, a custom beer bar, TAG, and the rooms will be brand new. The locations is awesome. My only concern is additional improvement to the casino floor is needed in my opinion. I feel like it lacks variety in table games.

Hope they get rid of the maze for the back tower.

They have to do something about the elevators also.

It's like an identity crisis. They don't know who they are and what they want to become. Our first couple of trips we stayed at the IP primarily because of the rate the first time (and of course we didn't know any better). They enticed us back the 2nd year with some offer. I like the casino re-do and it is still one of my favorite places to gamble. Plus, I've had great CW service there.
I really don't care what they care to call themselves but flip-flopping names over the past couple years leads to lots of confusion for those who do not keep up to date in Vegas news. Will I stay there again?? Possibly, but only if I am in a remodeled room and I am getting the room as a comp. Otherwise, I will just continue to stay at one of their sister properties.

I had a chance to stay there march 2013 when it was the quad. I liked it for the most part. Not the fanciest place but it got the job done. I like the idea of changing the name to the Linq hotel. M6 only problem is that now I'm sure room rates will sky rocket. They probably already have simce they have the High Roller out there. If they are renovating rooms then I'm all for it.
