Is there wifi in the rooms at Monte Carlo?
We stayed there 2 years ago & internet was hard wired.
Is this still the case in the guest rooms?

Yeah, we were there in June and there was no wifi in rooms. Usually had to go down the hall by the elevators to hook up with their 'free' wifi that I was paying resort fees for. Not sure why they can't configure it for access in the rooms.

If you stay on the 31st floor, you'll get wifi from Hotel32. :)

This is very true. I argued with someone for 2 days about if MC had wifi or wired internet. I KNEW I had wifi when I stayed there. I finally realized it was because I was on the 30th floor and it was coming from Hotel 32. ;)

When I stayed there in August, there were signs touting Free wifi on floors 1 & 2 of the casino and hotel. I found it funny; really makes them look behind the times that they're so proud of having wifi on two floors of a 31-story hotel. Those signs might be old but c'mon, MC, it's 2014.

We stayed there mid-Sept and were on the 9th floor (I think). I was able to get wi-fi most of the time on my ipad.

No wifi in the rooms and many of the rooms are service black holes.

No Wifi unless you are staying in Hotel32 but yes some of the higher floors can snag a signal from Hotel32.

Every room I've been in has had a wired connection. To make sure that's the case with the building work, when you check in, tell them wired internet is a must and you'll be fine.
