First of thanks to whoever hosts this message board! :nworthy:

I try to make an annual trip to Vegas, though since my son was born in 2010 I took 3 years off until last summer. My first trip was with my parents when I was 21.

I cannot consume enough about the city, the history, the lore and of course the drinking and gambling and this place feeds my hunger. I will be returning in January for my first solo trip. Well maybe, cause my friend my tag along. I told him though, if I want to play 10 hrs of VP, I will play 10 hrs of VP, just as a warning.

This trip is mostly fueled by my desire to "put some money on the Cubbies" because as you know the Back to the Future prophecy holds the Cubs will win in 2015. For the record I am a Sox fan and hate the cubs. I suppose the best place to put some money on the Cubbies is the Plaza, which was the inspiration for Biff's Pleasure Place Casino, if the Plaza has a book. Big ups to my wife for allowing the solo trip while she works and takes care of a 4 year old!

As for what I play, if you can bet on it, I will, though I usually stay away from side sucker bets at most tables. The reason I am excited for the solo trip is I am a gambling chameleon. When with my wife I play almost all slots, with my friends, almost all tables.

I do hit the casino's near my from time to time, maybe twice a month, but for mostly short sessions. If I get $10 or so free play a week I will go weekly to play VP with $40 or so bucks and leave. I have a passion for Horse Racing, and will bet big races online and make monthly trips to Harness and Thoroughbred tracks near me. Even though my state is not concerned with keeping either of these around with allowing slots at the tracks. It is sad that Arlington Park runs a lot of $5000 claimers, but this is the state of an industry that is long past its prime.

I am sure if you do not leave any money, there will be plenty left for me!

Yeah I was planning on doing march for the tourney or if I got any offers for a show, but Southwest had a sale going on and I was able to get RT for 7000k points or roughly $140 RT. I am concerned about Jan, but happy there are 4 football games that weekend, well that an you know...vegas.
