Interesting...I've never experienced an Earthquake in Las Vegas but I did in San Jose, CA a few years back. I've also felt one in Ohio many years ago.

Just missed it. Got back from Vegas Wednesday. I live in Ohio but have never felt any here. Felt one in Arkansas many years ago while visiting my grandmother.

I've been in Vegas during an earthquake. We were staying on the 23rd floor of the Flamingo and it woke us up out of a sound sleep. Of course the first thing we did was run to the windows :) . Then we walked down 23 flights of stairs. We at least took the time to get dressed though. Which wasn't the case with every one, like the poor man standing there in his pajama bottoms, no shoes or shirt, holding his wife's purse. That was my one and only earthquake experience.

I experienced a couple of earthquakes when I was stationed in California. Nothing big though. But, I experienced a number of earthquakes, some small and some big while stationed in Japan. The biggest one, I was on the 5th floor of a department store, and items were falling off shelves, and even the Japanese were scared, so I knew if they were scared, I should be too. Got downstairs as soon as I could. It's a very uneasy feeling.

Yeah, might be unusual for Las Vegas, but 3.6 is a pretty minor earthquake...

There's got to be some Ocean's 13 jokes in here, somewhere.

Being born and raised in So.CA I've ben through my share of earthquakes. Haven't had any good ones in a while though (knock on wood). My only Nevada earthquake experience happened in Laughlin, the earthquake was in LA, but we sure felt it Laughlin. We were on one of the top floors at the old Ramada Express, and the hotel was swaying back and forth. Woke me up, but had no trouble falling back asleep as soon as we quit moving.

Was at a club when this hit. I had absolutely no idea until we got back to the room that anything even happened...
