Are there any locations within LV that are regarded as being good spots for taking photos of the Strip? I vaguely recall hearing something about a city park or two that are at a slightly higher elevation and offer great views, but I may be thinking of something else, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

The top floor of the garage at Orleans has great panoramic view of the strip. It is especially nice at night.

Foundation room atop Mandalay Bay, the Stratosphere Tower, or dive west to Red Rock Canyon. Good views from there also

Frank, next time you're there, we're having a photo-taking party in your room! We'll bring the food and drinks.

It's not off-the-strip, but I discovered a place that I like for a photo. It's on the moving walkway at the top of the escalator which is in the Bellagio marquee.

Treasure Island, West Wing, 22nd floor. Higher would be better, though (more view, less garage at the bottom of the pic.)

Otherwise, Stratosphere, though obviously not free.

That view from there is a bit different these days, well, about half of it.
