I booked my November trip last year through a host at NY NY. Since then 3 different hosts from that property have e-mailed me. Is that normal? I guess I thought once you had a host at a property - that they were your host.

Is one of those hosts your original host? Maybe your original host left and they are trying to keep your business?

I don't think contact from this many people is very typical.

Doesn't sound typical to me, I would check to see if your original host has left like the tringlomane said. Also I was told by my host that if you have a regular host at a casino and for some reason you have another host at that same casino "do" something for you, that the casino will switch to that new host. Not sure if this is true, but would check before you engaged a new host, especially if you like your original host.

No, she's still there. She invited me to a slot tournament very recently. I have been getting emails from two other hosts since I stayed there last November. Now I got an email from a completely different host. Damn, I wish I liked the casino there more now that I have 4 hosts there :)

Are they actual hosts or marketing reps? I have a marketing rep that sends me invites to Mandalay, in addition to my host. Actually she's more helpful in setting up a trip than my host. She seems to know everyone behind the scenes, so our room is always where we want it, and the refrigerator that's supposed to be in my room is actually there when I open the door.

I deleted one of the e-mails but the other two are Casino Marketing Executives. JK and TC. The strange thing is that if you go on the web-site they only have 2 hosts showing - one of them is the host who I booked my trip with. None of the people e-mailing me are on the web.

My host is Barbara Barnot, and she is listed on the web - so I don't have a problem listing her name here.

No big deal - I just thought it was kind of strange.

This does sound quite strange, perhaps you can just call Barbara and ask straight up what's going on?
