I tried to make reservations at PH for my trip to LV next week to no avail a couple of months ago. I was using the Caesers TR website. The Caesers 800 number was not able to help me to my satisfaction either. I then contacted my host in Biloxi and asked if she would assist and she contacted someone at PH whose title is Service Ambassador. The Service Ambassador emailed me and was able to take care all my needs and we are all set to fly out on Monday.

I am not sure what a Service Ambassador is. Can anyone shed some light on this? I am assuming Service Ambassador's are part of the marketing area and not in the Host Department. Our $20,000K+ gambling (each trip) at PH two or three times a year has never been at a level that interests a host so I am curious about this title.

Regardless of the title I am appreciative of her help.

What is the $20,000k+ ???? Do you mean $20k in coin through in a slots which would equate to 4k in tier credits before any bonus. Does the $20k equate to theo? I think any Vegas host would be more than happy to help you out when you generate $20k in theo.

$20,000k is what my husband and I spend on table games at PH over 7 to 10 day stays. We only play at PH. This is strictly gambling, not food, entertainment or any other expenses. This will be our third trip to PH this year and so far we have spent over 40k. I have found that most casinos are interested in people who have their money not how much of our money they have. With this in mind I don't expect a host to be interested in us in Las Vegas. That kind of money in smaller markets such as Biloxi, Louisiana and other areas would probably get the attention of a lower level host. We generally do not ask for anything over and above a free room during our stay. We pay for meals and everything else. I primarily use the Caesers website for rooms but this time it would not give me what I wanted and the phone rep would not either which prompted me to seek assistance from a host at a property that seems to be interested in our play. That is how I got a PH Service Ambassador but am unfamiliar with this title at Caesers' properties.

I think you should give Hunter a PM or email or call. He can look up "accurate" data and he is a host at PH in las vegas. That would be the best way to get started.

see his thread in the comp section

If you are losing $20k/trip, you need to ask them to pick up your food and beverage. They will.

FUCK YEAH! Hellfire, wife and I only budget like $1000-$2000 for gambling and we're definitely getting free RFB...If you're blowing through $20k HARD CASH then your theo must be wild!

I stopped by the host office at Caesars a couple of trips ago to see if I had any back-end comps available and the woman who helped me out gave me her card and her title was Service Ambassador. I've been able to email her a couple of times with questions, although she's never arranged a trip. I don't think I have an official host at Caesars.

I don't know exactly where a Service Ambassador falls in the hierarchy, but based on the fact that she was in the host office and was able to comp me back-end, indicates to me that they are in between hosts and the marketing representatives. More authority than a marketing representative, but not as much as a host.

If your gambling loss budget is ~$3,000 a night, I think that's pretty easily over the threshhold of having a host at CET and PH.

Even without a host, at that level of play, the host on duty at checkout should be able to clear your charges. If you go to Vegas several times a year, you should have a host there. They should be able to make limo arrangements, room/suite reservations etc for you. I would imagine that at that level of play, you are probably already coded to a host. Diamond check in should be able to provide that info for you. Having said that.....if "your" host hasn't reached out to you on your prior trips.....maybe it's time girl a change.

Several trips ago when checking out a host was at the desk in the Diamond Check In/Out area so I went over and asked if they would take care of the chargers on my bill ($110.00) after a 9 night stay. She looked at my account and said you have $1100+ in your Total Rewards Account you need to use that. I thanked her told the desk agent to put the charges on my credit card and never gave any thought to asking a host or anyone for anything at PH again. If I wanted to use my rewards which I save for meals i had that option when I was checkiing out without talking to a host. One of the dealers at PH told me that your Total Rewads points are used now at Caesers instead of receiving comps. I just listened because a gambler like me knows this is not always the case. So in the words of my mom "Don't push when you ought to be shoving." Since then I don't ask for anything. If I can't pay for it, I figure I don't need it.

Thanks to everyone who aswered this post. I really appreciate the VMBoarders. Really good useful info can be found here. I love to read the board.

You guys should be getting RFB if you are dropping 20k a trip.

What is your average bet, game, how many hours do you play a day? Something is missing to this story.

RFB is different than just not having to pay for your room and meals (by keeping them modest). You're not getting actual RFB with a 1k-2k bankroll at any CET property.

If you lose 20k in 7 days you might want to bone up on your gambling skills.

Thats a pretty expensive "free room".

I've had back end comps at both CET and MGM without them touching my RCs/ECs, but at CET it was a couple of years ago, and it seems pretty clear these days that if you have any RCs when you go looking for back end comps, they're going to take them first.

I used to bank RCs and ECs, but not any more. It seems obvious that the best thing to do is spend them down in some fashion before you go looking for back end. Not only that, but I can see them possibly getting devalued like airlines have done, and you also never really know when you'll be back.

My gambling skills are fine. Like any table game you have to get the cards. I hit some good hands over my stay however the longer you stay the more likely you will spend more than you win. Since I don't play locally anymore we can afford to spend X number of dollars win or lose. Of course I want to win all the time but this does not happen. We spend quite a bit on those long stays however we both bring money home thus keeping me from committing suicide on the return Allegiant Air flight.

This makes sense but I am always able to pay for whatever I get. If they devalue them or they go away I will do the same. There are some great casinos aside from Caesers and I will be a new patron at one of them. I mainly keep my play at Caesers because they have local casinos here and so many to choose from in Las Vegas.

In actuality I love freebies like most others but when it comes to LV I would pay for my room, food and beverages even if I got nothing from the Casino. When the casinos first came to our local city I played for about two or more years without a TR card or any other casino card (we had 4 casinos locally at the time) because I didn't know what they were. I saw the signs but thought it was some kind of credit card. They did not push the cards like they do now. When I realized what they were I signed up and got one. Locally before Caesers (some years ago) you did not have to ask for anything. Comps were offered to you if you were a regular player without your asking. Those days are gone unless you are a whale who spends and wins a lot of casino money.

Are you accumulating reward credits by frequenting a local casino where you don't require hotel? For me, I don't live close to any CET casino. I make frequent trips to Vegas or AC. I accumulate very few reward credits over a trip so it doesn't make any difference to me that a host would use my reward credits prior to them using their discretionary comps to clear my bill.

Unfortunately, it's been my experience that CET exhausts a players reward credits before applying discretionary comps. It's a different scenario if you are not a hotel guest and cannot charge food and beverage to your room and instead are using reward credits.
