View from the room, already down a little but not out by any means. It's just getting started. Check in was a breeze, only people in line. Room is nothing fancy, but just fine. It's surprisingly not very busy anywhere so far. In guessing that will change once everyone wakes up and shakes off last night's fun.

I believe the "hurricane" hits on Monday. I land in Vegas on Tuesday, so I've been watching the weather. Just my freakin' luck the remnants of a hurricane arrive the day before.

Have fun! Look forward to your trip reports!

Not a terrible night, I think I'm down about $100. It did get very busy last night downtown and on the strip. I put a picture of the skee ball machine in hopes it would encourage a few people to play it. There needs to be more of them out here, the bonus is a blast. I got about 2 hours of play on a 20 dollar bill at the bellagio. I made $20 and came away with about 6 or7 drinks. I was excited to find out they have Sierra Nevada at the Bellagio. I consider 2 hours of entertainment, 7 beers, and a $20 profit a pretty good run
Saw the Cromwell and came away impressed. Made it to Cosmo, to watch the beautiful people parade by for awhile, also came away impressed :), passed through several others and generally had a good start. I'm here with my mom, so she goes her way and I go mine. It also means food is what's convenient, so nothing important to report there. Fremont buffet was what you would expect, the mermaids hot dogs still do the trick, and McDonald's still has food.
Football today- gonna try let it ride and 3 card poker today I think. I like playing cards, but i get a little intimidated out here for some reason. Video poker did kick my ass yesterday. I was up about $100 on lil red machines and then thought I could become a video poker legend on the board, but I failed. I'll try again today. Hurricane hits tomorrow, can't wait

Hash house salmon scramble, pretty decent. Bloody was good, but not really worth $12, could of got just as good of one at the 4 queens for as little as $20 at a machine :)

Exactly the kinds of progressives I hit:). Drank way too much watching the Vikings smoke the Rams yesterday. Ended up sleeping it off half the day:) no wins on the football bets, but I think that was common yesterday. Tough to see some of those results coming. I don't really bet on my team as the Vikings usually disappoint me enough without losing money as well. Main Street station buffet for breakfast and it was good as advertised. Staying at harrahs tonight, hope we can start winning something. I did just play for 2 hours at MSS and only lost $20 so I consider that a win.

The hurricane has arrived. Small loses so far, we got trapped in the Cosmo when it was pouring rain. Supposed to go to Monte Carlo for myvegas buffet, but may skip it if the rain keeps up. Check in at harrahs was a breeze thanks to platinum card earned by applying for a Visa:) got to go to the diamond lounge and act like a big shot. Room is decent, much nicer than our Plaza room.

How did you get Surly on the airplane? Sneak it on or does some airline carry it?

Bonus volcano view from our room. Buffet at Monte Carlo hit the spot. Time to travel the strip taking in the sights. $100 win was in about 20 minutes of play at harrahs. I'll keep trying to post pictures. The rain stopped!!

It's all of our favorite part of walking the strip. You can have a tori for only $47 direct to your room.:)

Mr. Wynn got the best of me quick. Headed down to the Bellagio for a session on the skee ball machine. No escalators at all because of the rain makes this walk that much more difficult. My fat ass needs the workout I guess
