Crime downtown vs the Strip

    I thought this map was interesting. Granted it's only the stuff that's reported but nevertheless interesting.
    One other thing to consider, there's more people on the strip so I guess it would make sense that more crimes are reported on the strip?

    One thing that surprised me was how many burglaries there are across the valley.

    There a reason gated sub-divisions and bars on the windows and doors are so popular in Las Vegas. Lot's of "have nots" lookin' to get theirs from the "haves".
