Has anyone recently used any good Groupons for Downtown eats, bars, shows etc? Going to be out there in about 3 weeks and open to any suggestions. The wife and I are DT regulars, looking for fun stuff to do, and if its on the cheap, all the better.

    Thanks!

I would be interested too. They seem to be really scarce downtown. Got a great Living Social from the Nugget spa about a year and half ago and an Atomic Liquors groupon earlier this year. Haven't seen too much since.

There was one on today for a downtown club crawl. Free entrance into the downtown bars that charge a cover for one night. Not my thing, so I passed. You all are right--hardly ever anything for downtown, which is a shame.

Not a Groupon, but MTO Cafe receives good reviews and it participates in Restaurant.com.

I had been watching groupon for downtown deals also but never really saw anything come across.

Honestly I hope we don't see groupons for DT. Groupons are usually reserved for places that are struggling,
have horrible service or food. If I was an owner I would just lower my prices rather than groupon. From
what I understand Groupon takes a 70/30 split.
