Read on the trip advisor that PH does not accept Total Rewards cards? Has anyone else experienced this? I have built up comp on social rewards and was looking forward to eating there.
Whoever told you that was probably talking about stores and restaurants in the Miracle Mile Mall which is attached to PH but it's an independent entity. People confuse the two. You can use your reward credits at restaurants inside of PH.
They don't accept TR cards at their gift shops/snacks/sodas stores. PHO is the only CET hotel that does not. I was just at Planet Hollywood Friday. The reason being none of PH stores are owned by Caesars.
The Starbucks does though if you're looking for coffee juice or water. If only the ABC Store took them, haha.
Yolo's does not accept RCs though. That's the only place I've encountered there that doesn't. I've used them at Starbucks and PF Changs many times with no problem.
You guys are confusing RW credits. Here is an e-mail i got today regarding rewards: "I just read your survey in regards to your recent stay with us here at Planet Hollywood. Unfortunately, our gift shops are not owned by Caesars Entertainment and they do not have a system set up to take our Reward Credits by swiping your card. If you are staying at Planet Hollywood and you have room charging privileges on your hotel stay, you can charge your purchases towards your hotel room and the Front Desk will allow for Reward Credits to be used in that manner. I hope this helps to answer your question." When i say they don't accept rewards cards, it's specifically means at the gift shops inside the Hotel. That is why i walked over to Paris and got some snacks to bring back to my room at Planet Hollywood. It does not affect restaurants. Swiping my card is a lot easier for RW credits, it's a pain because the gift shop was right next to the South Elevators. You can charge it to your room and they'll take it back off. But i don't like putting anything on my card. Also, just look at the menus online..........some places will show you the TR discount price (usually a buck).
I was there less than a month ago and Earl of Sandwich still doesn't accept TR cards (for points accumulating). I haven't tried with the TR visa to at least get points for the purchases there. I was a little surprised because I was sure I'd used it there on a previous trip but I'd probably made one to many alcohol runs to ABC .
I've eaten there twice in the past few months with my card. I was disappointed Pink's didn't take it though.
