I went to SLS after their players club closed and I didn't get to try. One of the pit bosses made us a card. I don't care to ever go back. I did not care for their casino at all.
I checked out SLS last Monday. I took the Duece from PHO up to SLS and was not impressed. I made a post in the Strip thread regarding SLS and the North Strip. But SLS on the outside still looks like Sahara, which isn't bad. On the inside it just felt like any other casino but in an area less desirable to want to go to. It's geared towards a younger crowd with money, but why would they go to SLS, where you can't walk the Strip like you can at Cosmo, Cromwell, etc? Many people i talked to in Vegas feels the same way as i do. Now, if SLS was in the Tropicana location, SLS would be a hit. Location, location, location.
It had nothing to do with lack of freeplay. IMO it just did not have a good vibe to it. It's kinda small and dark. Others may like it but I won't make the trip back.
I'm on my way to Vegas right now and I plan to check out SLS and join, but from what my friends have said, I doubt I'll like it much either.
What is the avg bet per hand/hr for rooms or theo comp%. Whats a comparable property?.I know its only been a couple of weeks and may change as we head into a slower fall/winter without big weekends. But what are you guys getting so far
