What is the closest place to MSS to pick up water to bring back to the room? I try to stay hydrated hen drinking in the desert!

Where can I buy safety razor blades downtown? The old double edged kind. I'm trying to go carry on only and I shave with a double edged razor. I can carry on the razor but not the blade. I'd rather not go to art of shaving and spend $14 for an 8 pack and then donate 6 of them to TSA.

I think there is also an ABC Store downtown if not on Fremont, the next street over. Although I'm not sure if they would carry blades for a safety razor.

Any of the bars at The Cal will sell you 1.5 liter bottles of Aquafina for $2.50. But if you're going to Walgreen's at 4th @ Fremont for razor blades anyway, you might as well pick up water there.

ABC stores speaks Aloha so I'll feel like I'm still at MSS.

it's a little late now, but for future reference - if I am going carryon and I have things that TSA wont allow (i.e. blades), I ship them to the hotel in advance. have never had an issue. I just put ATTN TO: "my name - hotel guest arriving xyz" and it's waiting on me at the front desk.

Maybe I'm missing something but I've flown with disposable razors in my carry on all the time, including April.

I'm talking about the fashioned double edge safety razor blades. Disposable blades are allowed.

When I flew last year I packed my double edge blades (Astra SP's) in my carry on I had no issues with them. Even if I had to toss them I was out about $.50

MSS also has a sundry store near their elevators. I think they have bottled water there. I know they have disposable razors, not sure about double edged blades though. There is also a sundry store on the 2nd floor promenade between MSS and Cal.

As others mentioned, ABC store for sure has bottled water (soda, liquor, etc.) and probably is the closest store other than stores in the hotels. The Walgreens near the Neonopolis probably has the largest amount of products downtown.
