First up 3 nights / 4 days downtown at The Plaza

Being big fans on Downtown we intend to live it up at each casino. Looking forward to checking out Container Park, Atomic Liquor and spending some time at the El Cortez Roulette tables.
We are low rollers and will be doing our best to keep the cocktail waitresses busy while tipping of course. Will be giving good action to our new friend Curt at The Plaza, 4 Queens for their Silver Strike, machines (i am an avid collector and Silver Strike member) and will also step foot at Downtown Grand for the first time.

Meals at HHAGG, The Heart Attack Grill, Dupars are on the agenda as well as a meal at Lotus of Siam (cab ride). We may also partake in a Mcdonalds $1 menu burger or 2!!!

Then after Labour Day Weekend check into Aria for 3 nights. Will try the $20 trick and see how we go. Going to play some poker at Aria, more than likely the 7PM $125 tournament and just generally cruise the Aria, play some VP and test their comp drink policy out.

Have bottle service for Gold so that should be a good starter for the night. Will venture to NYNY, Luxor to eat at Tender and also grab a Chonga at Tacos n Tequilas. Also keen to visit their Zippo shop.

Will do a strip casino crawl starting from Mandalay Bay also, using either VP golf rules or just playing a $20 through and moving on.

Now 11 hours till the plane departs to Crazy Town!!!

It's now 2 hours till departure, currently having Noodle Box to keep the breakfast Gods happy.

After the Aria we move onto Monte Carlo again courtesy of MyVegas rewards.

Looking forward to checking out SLS and The Cromwell as well as joining some locals for VP action at Stage Door, that place looks cool in only a Vegas way.

Venturing off strip we will visit Southpoint and enjoy some Steak n Shake action.

Will check back in once landed in Vegas.

look for Walmart or the Vons Supermarket on Tropicana blvd across from UNLV ( when we drive in with the kids for a week we stock up there)

Nice choice on the poker tournament. Aria is one of my favorite poker rooms and that tourney is great. Quality tables, chairs, dealers and drink service. It can go long though, so be prepared to be there till 3am+ to win it. I once bubbled out one short of the money at 3:30am. I had a good time, but it kinda sucked to play 8+ hours of poker out lasting nearly a hundred players, and not get paid....

First win for the trip, we got upgraded to premium economy for the flight Brisbane to LAX.

We enjoyed numerous bourbons, wines and Baileys to get us into the Vegas spirit. Food was also great, as were the hostesses we encounted.

Flight entertainment consisted of watching AFL game reruns, The Big Bang Theory and practicing casinos games BJ, Craps, Roulette and Baccarat.

We are set to hit Vegas running, now to board our Southwest Flight to the adult Mecca that is Las Vegas.

Awake count so far stands at 21 Hrs.

Arrived LA, got an earlier flight to Vegas leave in 30 mins. Another win for the trip.
