Photos are not working. It says I don't have a valid email address when I attempt to take a picture.

It won't let me take pics because it says I don't have a valid email set up in my profile, yet it sends me a password reset to my very. Laid email address. When ninety to fully set up my profile It says "error-token not valid" when I try to set up my profile.

Hummm might have to wait for my software guy to get home from work tonight.

Well it seems to have decided I'm valid now after logging out and back in.
We bought new luggage for this trip. Have had the same luggage since our honeymoon in 2003. So we will be trying out our new purple jumbo spinner bag. Thanks to free checked bags on SWA.
Time to get packing less than 24 hrs left at home now!

If you're leaving in less than 24 hours you might want to update the title of your thread from OCT to AUG. Glad to see you got the pictures working. Have a good trip
    :)

Ok house all locked up, headed to airport for 11:40 flight which has a 15 min posted delay already. We can make that up in the air if it status 15 min. Might be time to make my first wager! Will we touch down in LAS at 1:50? $50 says No! [emoji12]

Flight left Pdx about 30 min late. Pilot said we would be able to cut off 15 min of our two hour flight and should land just about 2:00.
Wins: We got a pilot with a lead foot!!! ;had a sandwich and cookie in our carry on we could eat while waiting for the B and C boarders to get settled. The weather just keeps looking better and better for this trip. Looking like low 90s the whole time we are there. Looking forward to our pool time Thursday. With awesome weather like this I may just spend time there every day.
Losses: small child having fits in the back of the plane. With lots of screaming. Packed earplugs in checked bag :( .Going to arrive a MB just about the time general check in starts. Hopefully the VIP lounge won't be too busy.

After getting settled we had about 2 hrs until our dinner reservation at Charlie Palmer. Went to the casino and they proceeded to take money from my DH at the craps table and I played mostly slots- loosing at all my favs. Craps tables had a bad vibe for me and all were $15 and $25. Wasn't feeling it so left home to loose his bankroll.

Had an awesome cut of the week meal at CP steak. That is such an incredible deal. We must have drank more than a bottle of wine between the two of us. 3 glasses of white and 3 glasses of red each. And that was the biggest flat iron steak I've ever had at a restaurant. We had nearly 3/4 of a steak left between the two of us - which we sliced up and took back to the room for a little late night finger food.
Hit the casino determined to turn Around our luck. I wanted to roll some dice! MB tables were in the same state, unhappy looking people and there was 1- $50 1-$25. And 1-15 open. At 8:30 on a Wed night. So we caught the tram to Luxor. Luxor has only 3 tables. All were open and all were $10. After a quick survey I chose a table with cheerful table and bought in. DH chose the table next to me. I was a little glad. His karma wasn't so good this far. After about an hour DH was the only guy rolling at his table. He cashed out up but down overall. He came over to check on me- I was Rolling and rolling for like 45 min. I asked for my normal Makers when first got to the table, she came back to tell me they only had Jim Bean. Well 8 guess I'm drinking Jim Bean I told her to add a splash of bitters to make it more interesting. As I started to hit points everyone at the table was grabbing her and ordering me more Jim Bean all night. Left about $$280 up after 2 hrs. Stumbled back to the tram. Played a bunch of MB
Slots. Did pretty well on Sinbad. Ended the night up $35 overall and snacking on those left over steak strips. The room was spinning by the time my head hit the pillow. Water water and more water!
Sorry about misspellings not easy to type on my phone. I'll look for a pic or two.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Glad you enjoyed Charlie Palmer. I'm tempted to go to Luxor and drink Jim Beam while playing craps now.

So the next day- Thursday was our day at the pool - DH was up early and I was moving quite slowly thanks to all that Jim Bean. He went down and got the cabana early and then I headed down around 9:30 after much water, and a little coffee. Fought my hangover til
    Around boo
When I was cured by a wonderful BLT off the cabana menu! We ordered our frozen drinks and began our day at the pool. It was HOT I
Think part of that was my raining slight state of blagh. Because it was only 93 and last summer we were there for the record night 112 degree days. Enjoyed a few laps around the lazy river, it was long way from our cabana though do didn't spend as Much time there as I have in the past. Around 2pm the clouds came over and a pretty strong warm breeze came up. People were heading out pretty rapidly d/t lack of sun. We found it quite pleasant. It dropped to about 82 degrees and it was comfortable as long as you weren't wet! Or stayed in the pool out of the breeze.

Headed back to the room around 4 to get cleaned up for the evening. Picked up our MyVegas rewards at the MLIFE desk and headed up to Mix for our free sliders. It was open, but difficult it to get to. Had to goto the main Delano elevators as the normal mix Lounge elevators were closed due to construction. Got a great seat, the place was mostly empty. Only 5 tables occupied on the deck for the entire time we were up there from 5:15-6:30. We also enjoyed a Mix-n-roll (mix version of a lobster roll) and I had a watermelon cocktail and DH had a drink called conquistador with elderflower Tonic. Both were were good, and very pretty.
There were also girls dressed in blue bringing around samples of the new Bombay Saphire east gin in a cute sample glass. Since it was quiet we had time to talk with the waitress about the future of Mix with the Delano change. She said mix would stay Mix for about 9 months then they would be closed for the next summer and reopen under another Brand. The plan was for the new restaurant/lounge to host the Delano 1year anniversary party. The new place would more "loungey" less nightclubby. [IMG][IMG]

Then we headed down to get our game on.
I played a bunch of slots as I again was not happy with the vibe at the MB craps tables. DH played slots, can't remember how we did, seems like we were about even. Then had dinner at Kumi around 8:30. It was great, I was happy with their food, but still not wanting to challenge my stomach with a lot of food. So we orders several
Things and I just nibbled off each plate. Our favorites were the Crispy Rice cold plate and the Hot Mess Roll. Here is a picture of the Hot Mess Roll and the 007 octopussy roll. This restaurant has this beautiful cherry blossom room in back.

After dinner Thursday we cruised by the craps tables at MB again unimpressed with the vibe and lack of low limit tables. Even though it was 9:30 PM there were only 4 craps tables open. And two were $15 min and the others $50 and $25. So we wasted no time and caught the tram to Luxor again. Again all three tables open at Luxor and all were $10 min. The bit boss recognized my husband and called him by name when we walked up. She welcomed me to the table and we settled in for a nice long run and each left the table 2 hrs later up over $500 each. I was up $35 more than DH, they made sure to point out to him as we left. It was a fun table and Jim Bean free hat night as I was still a bit queezy. I asked for a Malibu and come and was informed that they only had Pepsi, boy that was a terrible
Drink. Two sips and I was done with that. I don't understand MGMs dedication to Pepsi! Walked back to MB via Mandalay Place, hit the slots for. While at MB and headed to bed around 12:30.
