Do the drivers ask for local Id on the strip routes? What is your recent experience with this?

    Not usually.
Never have asked me and I always travel with $17 15day reduced fare pass..

    thanks, how recent?

For my LDW trip if I can get a 15 day residential that will help in the savings.

I ask because in July I rode a WAX and anytime someone scanned a residential it made a beep and the driver asked for ID.

I was scanned on board maybe three times out of ten trips back in March. It was always between the South Transfer Station and the Miracle Miles shops, when the bus wasn't too crowded, yet. They did catch a guy with local ID using the residential pass, but just let him off with a warning.

Using a reduced 15 day, I have only been asked a few times for my reduced ID. There is a driver on the 202 route that always asked me for it.
