I gotta have a cool room - the a/c is very important. How's the a/c at the Plaza?

Does it cool the room down sufficiently? (I don't care about noise/rattling - that's actually 'white noise' for me?)

We stayed at the Plaza in June when it was mid 90's outside. We had a south facing room in the south tower. The AC worked great for us. We like it cold when we sleep and it worked just fine...

Have stayed in both towers this year and A/C was great in both. I thought noise level was low in both, even slightly facing the railroad tracks. North tower is closer to the front desk, if that matters.

I stayed at the plaza with my hot blooded sisters starting August 1 for three nights. They both set the air so high I felt like I was living in a meat locker! You will be fine.

The A/C units were the best thing about the Plaza rooms even before the remodel. I don't know that I have seen many hotels (yes including much much newer hotels) that have A/C units as awesome as the ones at the Plaza. And their hot water rocks as well.

I have stayed in both Towers & the air-con is great in both.

Our first step upon checking in is lower the air-con to the coolest setting.

We are going to need it in 2 weeks time for sure.

We stayed at the Plaza about 10 years ago, north tower, facing north. The room was surprisingly nice. We **DID** get railroad noise both day and night. It does not bother me, I'm used to such things, but for a light sleeper I could see that it would be annoying.

works like a charm, not quiet, but who cares. I'm in the south tower, facing north. Glad to also report we didn't have another 4AM fire drill last night.
