Tell us your top 3 slot machines you like to play.

Mine in no particular order (they may be old, only travel once a year from Australia)

    Hangover
    Silver Strikes
    Winning Bid 2

These may change, have a 9 day trip coming up this month.

Your top 3 may help me find a new favorite.

    Regards

The original Wizard of Oz was always very good to me.

Davinci Diamonds I still like but it's very volatile.

Any single line Double Diamond variation with a low paytable, it's boring as hell but low volatility.

Lord of the Rings / Godfather

Jewel of the Dragon / Sea Goddess

and my favorite classic that's still around: Cleopatra

Though my ALL TIME favourite may be Red White and Blue, but the only one I know in existence is a penny slot at the Tropicana, and it's only 45 cent max bet. I'll usually run a $20 through it each trip, but I wish there was a 5 cent or 25 cent machine of it somewhere on the strip.

    FYI
I was told by two different slot hosts that Wheel of Fortunes are the worst slot machines you can play.
Not that the odds for all slot machines stink. LOL.

Only machine I have played more than a few times is Bombay.
Anyone familiar with it? Friend turned me on to it so now I have to play it a few times if the casino has it.
Had some good hits and nothing that terrible to report on it so it's still a nice little diversion from the norm.

    Have a great trip Q

I see some love for the penny quick hits...

my cousin plays this game religiously and I gave it a whirl last trip once or twice and did alright. I see it becoming one of my go-to's, especially since it's $1.50 max bet. I always find myself playing $20-$40 at a midlevel bet (say $1.75 on lord of the rings) and quickly go for broke at $3.50 a spin max bet after that for the next 200-300 bucks. $1.50 will keep me tame haha

If I'm running bad, or just trying to kill some time playing some machines, I try to do the same thing. Find a machine that the max bet is $1.50-$2.00. Definitely helps limit the bleeding a bit. Like you, if I sit at a machine thinking I'll just play a mid range bet to kill some time, I'll inevitably end up taking max bet rips and burning more cash than I wanted to. Of course once in a while those rips pay off, but a lot of times I just end up flushing a bunch of money when my objective was to do just the opposite.

The bonus of doing this with quick hits is that there are still some big wins to be had if you can hit the progressives.

This is why I love Quick Hits. With games like China Shores, even if you get the bonus, that is no guarantee you will get any payoff. It sucks. those Konami games are very addicting and very unpredictable!!! IMO
