"F" me!!

Bought Pit Bull and Enrique Iglesias tix to see them at the Verizon Center in DC Sept 13. Just realized it is the same day/weekend as the Mayweather fight.

Should/could I try and sell my tix for the show that is local and take her to the one at MB during Colombus Day weekend and go to the fight or is that selfish?

Have dinner plans for us downtown DC and staying at the Mandrian Oriental. I actually had some thought put into that weekend until all of this came up.

Will also be out there for Super Bowl weekend. That would make it 3 trips in 5-6 months. Already been out to Vegas 3 times this year.

 

Do right with the lady...do vegas another time.

We can see the same exact concert in Vegas for free but I will also be able to get out for the Mayweather fight. I think it is more thoughtful when she see's what I have planned for us that one night in DC then taking her to Vegas.

 

My advice is probably not the best. The concert can be seen at a different time and place. This will Mayweather last fight against maidana. This fight can't been seen any other time. However, there will be a few more Mayweather fights.

Would your wife rather watch the concert in DC or lv? Where would you rather watch it?

 

She would rather see it in DC since we have a daughter and it is local. Of course I would go to LV to see it. I have been following Mayweather since the Arturo Gatti fight in AC and was at it. I went to the Gatti/Ward II and III fights in AC along with other Gatti fights.

But as others have said, I can basically go another time.

 

Gotta go with DC for the wife and kid.

Fight nights are awesome, but there will be more in the future. If it happens, the Pac vs May fight will be the fight to go to.

I agree. Damn Bob Arum. So much money could be made if it did happen.

 

Trust me, that fight will be made but when paq is truly out of his prime and is for money which unfortunately he is close to.

If that fight was 2 years ago, all I gotta say is holy cow!! You would not be able to get into the arena (same as the Gatti/Mayweather fight in AC)

 

Just stay, although Mayweather is enticing.
