I don't understand how this happened again... somehow the Cosmopolitan decided to give me more free rooms!

Like I said here before I'm a 55 yo, mostly slot playing low roller that lucked into free rooms back in November and then surprisingly got another 2 nights for my trip in February. I figured that was the last time I would stay in one of those beautiful rooms since my play was really low , (first time was a Studio Terrace Fountain View, second was a One Bedroom south view).

March, April & May my offers were "buy 2 nights and get a buffet free" Two nights ago I get a offer for 2 free comps nights again! The first two times I had to call in with a code, this time I could log-in through the website and there they were... comp nights in June! And I had my choice of city view, terrace studio or 1 bed terrace, (I chose the Terrace Studio, I like the layout better).

Already booked for June 10th. Going to live it up like it's my last time at the Cosmo, again!

Congrats! Doesn't it feel like Christmas morning when you get an offer like that?!

I too had stayed there for free and loved the rooms. I had another offer of comps come in that I couldn't use so it expired. I then booked airfare to go to Vegas on another date, and was totally bummed that they only sent me a show ticket offer. A couple weeks later though, an offer came in to cover the dates I had booked...I was THRILLED!!!

Don't know how their comp rooms work, but I'm not complaining!!!

I am the unluckiest at getting offers and I'm not sure why. I usually get everything comped when I leave but don't get many offers. I'm hoping Aria is different, my last trip I had 2500 in theo over two days at Aria but havent received any offers yet. I have booked three nights at the end of this month and hope to get it comped on the back end again. I guess what I am saying is that I am truely jealous:Þ

I'm booked on an offer in just 8 days. It expired June 4, hopefully I will get another offer soon. I haven't seen anything new in my email from them. Though my GF got an offer for free concert tickets to MIA or Kid Rock but I got squat. Go figure.

Where have you been able to log in online at Cosmo and use one of your comped offers instead of calling in? The only thing I've been able to do online with Cosmo is to check my current Identity points.

I can't help but envy you.

I've lost thousands of dollars at the Cosmo my last few trips (2 weeks ago, January, last October..) and I get NOTHING but offers for free buffet with a stay.

I guess they know they've got me hooked and don't need to offer a stay.. they know I'll book free PHo rooms then walk across the street every day to play.

    I'm with you Wezvidz.

I haven't played much at Cosmo, but definitely way more than so many of these posts I read where people drop next to nothing and get tons of room offers.

So far I've received bupkis from them. Never a single piece of snail mail, and emails only telling me about stuff I can buy.

They must be prejudiced against studs.

They must be. I dropped around 8k there over 4 days/3 nights and received a free buffet with purchase of a room offer. Now I just comp myself the room I want and give all my play elsewhere (CET and MLife)

    Just a link

On the email was a link to click. It brought up the regular website and the same pop up box you get when you check your Identity points, (enter name, Identity number etc). It went straight to booking a room showing a calendar with "comp" all over it.

I've been rated at the Cosmo twice.

The first time was within a few weeks of the opening. I had a good 5 hour run, took care of the dealers and was likely rated higher than what I played (my average was likely $75-$100. Have received random two night offers plus free play since, but only for S-Th.

I stayed a few years ago for two nights. I played rated for aprox 6 hours BJ total, and likely averaged $50 or less. I continue to receive offers and will stay for two nights w/ $200 FP next month.

They have 9/6 JOB in the high limit room, but I've found the drink service poor no matter what machine I played (never had a waitress for 30 min in HL - on the floor it's poor as well). At the table, drink service is great. I will play BJ and may play VP if there is a waitress in HL, or a decent progressive.

I've played a few other times at the Cosmo but never rated. I never get rated for short sessions or when playing for lower than my normal average bet. I've found it's better for comps if you stay at a higher average rating vs. many small hit and runs, small average bet sessions. When I've asked a host in HL, they are looking for multi black chip play for 4/hrs per comped night. There is a difference between the flier offers and expected play for regular players.

I hope to get future offers but I doubt I will. I think the Cosmo was desperate to get gamblers under the bank, but with the new owners they may give one more flier offer but I'm not counting on it. I will still enjoy playing low limit blackjack at the few somewhat playable tables they offer. I rather stay comped elsewhere or pay versus playing longer at higher limits with poorer VP pay tables.

I was told 2 months ago that it was $175 (sometimes flexible) for minimum 4 hours (not flexible) per comp night on any table. Even asked if that included pai gow and he confirmed yes.

Thanks for the explanation. I currently have 2 emails from Cosmo for comps with them, one offer is good until June 25th and the other one is good until the end of July and neither one of them seem to have a link like that to click on. Perhaps it's due to the fact I have a host and there is a link to click on his name and send him email. Oh well.

I never wait for a drink at Cosmo on the floor; I've always been really impressed with the drink service. Love the lemon drop martinis. I haven't paid for a room there is 3 years since my first stay. My comps had been Sun-Thurs with $200 freeplay but recently went to 3 nights. I sure hope nothing changes with the new ownership as the terrace and casino make it my favourite place to stay.

Do they serve the lemon drop maritnis on the floor? I've only ordered specialty drinks when playing at Book And Stage, otherwise I stick to the basics like vodka soda, jack and diet, etc...

I love Cosmo's mojitos, but only when the right bartender makes them. Many of them make it with sweet & sour mix now.

Booked this for next week and am letting my buddy stay there (I did a stay in January) while I check out the Aria thanks to myvegas.

Love the Cosmo, and will be spending plenty of time there next week.
