My wife and I are going to be going to Vegas in August to celebrate our 13th anniversary, we have the money now to book our vacation and was wondering if we should go ahead and book now or wait a couple months and book closer to May-June and see if we can get a better deal. We always stay at the MGM Grand and plan on staying in one of the tower spa suites this year if that makes a difference on when we should book. Looking forward to our next trip and talking to you all about your experiences and ours.

While I really don't have any experience with MGM properties, we usually book out about three months to insure availability and then rebook if the rates decline.

Hope that this helps and have a great trip.

Thank you, I will. I just finished buying airline tix and called up the M-Life to get my M-Life numbers and they beat the best price for our room by almost $150.00, so now we have everything paid for and ready to save for gambling and shows.

Thank you, I see you are like me, not routing for the home college team and routing for the local pro teams. I am a Oregon fan.

As far as booking your room, check out smartervegas.com Usually has some good deals and you end up booking direct through the hotel's website rather than some 3rd party. Makes changing your reservations much easier if a better deal pops up later.

Yep, it's disappointing not being able to go to many games but I've been able to make it to the last 4 times they've played either WSU or UW.
