I'm assuming that the gift shop at Bally's sells liquor....I'm sure it's a limited selection. Does anyone know if the 15% discount for Platinum counts towards liquor?

Grab the shuttle to the Gold Coast instead; good selection and excellent prices.

Thanks for suggestion, but I'm only going to be in LV for a couple of days, and don't want to waste precious Vegas time to save $. We will only be buying one bottle, so trying to decide if better to stop at Liquor Library at airport or Bally's gift shop. I'm not sure of how the prices will compare between these 2 places.

Might I suggest Stage Door. Pretty much right outside the Bally's side door.

I'm curious if the gift shop at Bally's gives the 15% discount to liquor, and can you pay with points?

Ballys is way to expensive even if you get a discount. There are better choices like the one above with the shuttle to the Gold Coast or Orleans casinos (use a players card) with the purchase or just cross Flamingo Road to The Stage Door bar-convenience store. Last year we picked up a $90 bottle of Tequila for $38 that they were selling if you purchased $15 or more of any other items.

Walk two casinos south to PHo and the liquor store in the Miracle Mile Shops

10 min walk each way, max

They do have a very limited selection as it is a very small shop. Honestly, I don't know if they give a discount on liquor - I've never tried. However, seeing as I've been denied benefits on OTC medication, I wouldn't be shocked if it wasn't included. There should be some fine print on the tier benefits page to that effect. But I would second all other suggestions on getting your fix elsewhere because as I stated before, they won't have much to choose from. Almost every other CET gift shop on the strip has a better selection.

This right here, much bigger selection and way cheaper, pretty sure they only had pints there. Only a 5 min walk, if that.

You can pay with point but you do not get a discount on any alcohol. I asked and they said they only give you a discount on souvenirs. Like I said above, go to Stage Door, will save you some cash,

Exactly the info I was looking for. Looks like I take a walk to save money.

Was thinking of stopping at the Bally's shop for a single beer to use on the strip.

They sell single beers? Stage door will be cheaper, but Vegas time is too valuable just to save a Buck on a single beer...

If they don't sell singles the gift store will (if they have one). Better yet for a single beer get a $2 draft from the Tequila Bar right in Bally's.

Walk next door to the PH and stop in one of the two ABC Stores. They offer a wide variety liquor and its not overpriced.

Theres a gift store right next to the side entrance that sells single beers. I went there alot and bought tall boys. Think there were right under $5 each.

That is exactly what we are talking about. We'll be a Bally's in the afternoon for some cheap 5c VP, and wanted a (Roadie) beer before we head off to explore the Linq.
