    My Trip Report

    I'll save everyone the boring details and just hit the highlights.

    Hotel

    The Wynn was excellent as always.

    Gambling

    Won a little at poker and even more at the sportsbook. Up about 1000 for the trip.

    Dining

    Peppermill: Had the chicken fried steak breakfast. Pretty good but the best part was the blueberry muffin.

    Jazz Brunch at Country Club: Outstanding. The best meal of the trip. I've always been a fan of the Sterling Brunch but I believe this meal was of much higher quality, not to mention the restaurant is much nicer.

    Sinatra: Very good. Started with the penne pasta with meat sauce and had the ossobucco for the main meal. Had a few Sinatra smashes as well.

    SW Steakhouse. Very good as always. Had the filet. My group also ordered a kobe strip for the table to share. Very good but I'm not sure it was worth 42/ounce!

    The other meals mainly consisted of snack type food and not worthy of a mention.

    There you go: short and sweet like a midget covered in chocolate!

    Mmmm…chocolate covered midgets!:licklips:

    Good stuff, Junkyard Hog. I can’t believe in all my stays at Wynn, I’ve yet to make it to the Jazz Brunch at The Country Club. I really have to remember to try that, dammit!

    Congrats on the wins!

    You definitely need to try the Jazz Brunch, especially if you like seafood. Very good selection and high quality.

    The best thing I had was an entree I ordered. The poached eggs and BBQ smoked pork was outstanding! We'll be going again our next trip in September.

    I'm the same way....I've known about the Jazz Brunch since they started it but always get sidetracked when we're there. I'm going to make a point to try it now because I love nice chilled seafood.

    Hmmm....Chocolate covered midgets.....female?:wink2::evillaugh
