Anyone putting bets down on the NCAA tourney games tonight?

Already locked in on Albany -2.5 against St Marys. They should control the pace in this game and pull away late on.
The Mountaineers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games. The Great Danes are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 10-1 ATS in their last 11 neutral site games.

For tomorrow night I took the bait as soon as I saw Tennessee getting +1.5 against Iowa.I think Iowa will not be able to contain the size and athleticism that Tennessee has in the frontcourt.

Love to hear from some fellow sportsbook bettors and NCAAB followers!

Hi Kev, I see the spread on the Iowa and Tenn game has jumped around alot. I am very interested in watching that game. Not sure I have a Fav in that game but I like the winner to go past the next round. Iowa's coach will be distracted (due to his son's surgery). I think if Iowa can play 40 mins they will win but I do not believe they can play 40 mins as they have had trouble with that all year long. Either way it should be a good game.

Have you looked at the Fla State vs Fla Gulf Coast game? Gulf coast getting 10 - 11 pts. that is alot of points

    Hi Hoops,

Actually looking at that game right now, alongside Missouri-Davidson!
Im willing to bet Fla GC is way more excited to be playing in the NIT than fla st. is. They missed out on the ncaa tournament in the conference final against Mercer, which could result in a downwards spiral.

With Missouri it's exactly the same, after they went 10-0 for the start of the season, they slided down ever since, at the start I was on the Mizzou money train big time, but they just couldn't keep it up.
Davidson however won 13 out of their last 14, and they played 5 ranked teams and held their own quite well.
I'm leaning towards Davidson quite strong since they are getting 7 points. I think that's too much chalk for Mizzou to cover.

Love to hear your opinion on that one!

That Davidson game is very interesting. I did not see that one out there as I was looking more for the NCAA games on Thursday. Davidson has a very good coach and will be a tough out for Mizz. Not sure if you saw this story on 2 of the B ball players for Mizz (driving with some pot in the car) ? This will be a big distraction I think, so i would agree let Davidson get excited and take the points. If Coach McKillop has some Magic Davidson may even win the game.

Are you staying out there for the week for all the NCAA games?

Locked down on Davidson and Fla GC, although its never a sure thing I do feel confident about these games.
That article was the final push I needed, thanks! I agree that this can be a huge distraction for the team, add that to the dissapointment of missing the NCAA tournament,it's a lock for me

I'm actually in Holland, going to Vegas in September, but I follow the NBA and NCAAB closely and I watch a lot of games, dont need that much sleep

Haven't been looking too far ahead, doing that first thing tomorrow :)

That is a very interesting read! This article and the dissapointment on missing the NCAA tournament must be a real distraction..Made me lock in on Davidson, already locked in on Fla GC,as I suspected the line to drop even further begore tip off! Got it at +10.5, Davidson at +7, but I suspect it could be a point less around gametime.

I'm quite confident when I look at my picks, lets hope we did our homework correct

I'm actually in Holland, going to Vegas in September, but I follow the NBA and NCAAB real close, and watch a lot of games, don't need that much sleep anyway

I mainly bet on the NCAAB,as it has proven to be a better moneymaker opposed to the NBA..

Nice grab on Davidson at +10.5, I just got them at +7 lol.

I'll land tomorrow evening and planning to just bet the first several games of the day and go from there, with the exception of a few parlays. I don't sports bet too often, so any advice is appreciated.

    Tentatively..

    Pittbusrgh -5.5
    Cincinnati -3
American -14 (iffy as heck on this)
    Wofford +16

    Then some parlays..
    NSMU +260
    Oregon -5.5
    ASU +1.5

Sorry for the misunderstanding, got Fla GC at +10.5 and Davidson at +7!

Cincinatti is a pass for me, they always seem to not show up when I bet on them, and Harvard is an experienced team,I think this could be an upset waiting to happen, this is a 50-50 for me.

Pittsburgh same thing, although I do see Pittsburgh winning,Im not too confident they will cover the chalk.

If Wofford can slow the pace of the game they have a good shot of covering.
The same for American, although I think Wisconsin will cover the chalk

ASU, hmm another 50-50 when I take a first glance, Neither Texas nor ASU has been very impressive.

    With you on Oregon Ducks.
I think Radford has an insanely high +16 against Oregon State in the CBI,could be on that one.Although Radford is shit in defense, they can score.
And I'm going to ride the Vilanova moneytrain some more! Trail untill they fail

Just my 2 cents on the games, havent been studying them from top to bottom,I wish you all the best! If you want more opinions, dont hesitate to ask!

All good, got FLA GC last night :)

As you mentioned, the first few games on Thursday aren't terribly impressive.

Do you have any thoughts on the Dayton/Ohio State over under?

The line keeps moving towards Ohio State, so I'm thinking about Dayton +6, and the over.

I'm with you on Dayton and the over, this is a game that everyone seems to have an opinion about, that makes it difficult.

Ohio averages 69.8 ppg and Dayton averages 73.4 ppg so they have the scoring power to get the over.. Although Ohio does struggle from the free throw line, keep that in mind with the over..
Ohio seems the better defensive side, but hey, its the NCAA 1st round, Dayton are going to give Ohio a run for their money.Add the fact that Dayton won 10 out of their last 12 games, this is a game I really look forward to.

Although Ohio has more experience at this level,I do think Dayton are going to keep this one close, so I say go with the points, my friend has Dayton even winning SU in his brackets.

I locked in on Tennessee (NCAA), Illinois(NIT) and contemplating on pulling the trigger on Radford, they got a massive +14 against Oregon State.. Ohh and locked in on 1 NBA game, Boston +6.5 against the Heat, just a hunch, small bet

Wish you good luck tonight and hope for you that Dayton shows up big time!!

As a UD student and having seen many of their games this season just be forewarned that while they can stick with OSU they are highly capable of losing a game by 20 points. They take a lot of ill-advised threes, especially Vee Sanford. Not to mention, this is a huge game for Dayton because they've been trying to get Thad Matta to schedule them for years and he refuses. This could go either way though, could be great motivation but also could be a big bone to choke on.

As much as I am pulling for my Flyers, I am scared to touch any line under double digits. However, I think you are spot on with the OVER 131.

I don't bet individual games but I do have a future for Michigan St to win it all. 7-1.

Locked in early today, feel confident about them, mostly going for the dogs tonight :)

Dayton +6 My friend lured me into that one,his ass if it goes wrong :evillaugh
St Joe's +5.5 Really can't back Uconn in this spot, these teams are similar so i'll gladly take the points.
NC State +3 I think NC state wins SU but I'll take the points
Oregon -5.5 Possible blow ut material here
Cincinatti winner 1st half Cinci ranks 5th in the country in 1st half points allowed (27.2) and they score an average of 32.4 points themselves, hoping the Cinci comes out strong
WMU +13.5 I think this is a low scoring affair, with WMU keeping it within the points
    Syracuse-WMU under 128 I don't think it will go over 125 points (68-57ish)

Last one for today, too many games but just couldn't resist.. North Dakota +3.5
