Been playing for about 4 months now. Have over 300 MV friends. Spin 1500 per spin. Only have about 20,000-40,000 LP daily (red?), which I go through pretty quickly. I am at level 65 but only have about 55,000 yellow chips. I play daily as to get the bonus wheel spin. It would take me a year to get some of the rewards!

How much do you play on an average day? I probably play around a hour a day on average, sometimes less sometimes more. Plus I play on the mobile app while at work here and there. I have nearly 70,000 LP's (that's the gold coins by the way). I've been playing around the same time as you.

The game has tightened up considerably since it first started. If you go back and read some of the early reviews, chips and LP's were much easier to come by. As a result, a lot of the early players were able to bank chips and LP's. You'll read people talking abut having a million chips or LP's. It seems most of us late comers won't ever see numbers like that, at least not without considerable effort and saving.

The prices in the store have gotten more and more expensive also. Again, reading the early reports on the game, people were basically getting near free weekends in Vegas with a little effort and teaming their rewards with a partner.

So basically, don't expect to fund your trip with nothing but MyVegas. You might be able to get 1 or 2 nice rewards but you probably won't be getting 3 nights free at Aria anytime soon.

Take a couple days off from actually playing and build to a couple 100k or a million in red chips by daily spin and collecting when you can and then play and play low. I don't know what all has changed since I started with building properties but if you are done with that then only bet 1k or 1500k a spin, I believe it's like 6-8 spins to fill the gold Coin so up to 8k for the LPs. If you are betting more than that you are wasting chips....like of it 8 spins at 1k so 8k for the LPs and you are spinning 4k a spin to fill in 6 spins that's 24k for the same among of LPs...when you could have done the 1k and had 3 times as much Lps as the 4k. I know a lot of people who bet high but it's just wasting chips

You gain LPs faster by betting high. Not more efficiently, but faster. The way to go is to only play on double xp / double level up LP days. I've gone up 30-40 thousand LPs in a day by max betting at 60k per spin during one of the aforementioned events. And I do this in like a half hour. Getting that many LPs by betting 1000 per spin would take several hours per day for a few weeks.

1500 per is a good start, collect from your strip as many times a day as you can (im sure you do) then save a few days so you can go on a good run. If a game isn't paying within the first 10-25 spins then change it.

Just to clarify: the red ones are called "chips" and the gold ones are the LPs (loyalty points). If you were getting 20,000-40,000 LP daily you wouldn't be complaining :) :) :)

As for what you are doing wrong:
--> It is longer term sustained play that can really build up the LPs as well as your XP
--> XP is important because when you get to higher levels you get 1000 LP each time you level up
--> But you need to approach playing MyVegas like you would a real slot machine:
--> You need proper bankroll management to ride through the highs and lows, especially since they retooled the games so there are more lows than highs nowadays.
--> What that means is you need to play at a level appropriate for your bankroll. Thats why people above are saying 1500 is good, but they are saying to hold off on playing and build up your chips... because then you have the chips to ride the highs and lows, where you can play and wait to hit that bonus or pick up the free spins

To put your MyVegas play in to perspective: the way you are playing is the equivalent of you going to a real casino with $250 in your pocket and heading straight to the high limit room and playing $10-25 per spin.

So you have the potential to hit a nice big win and rake in the chips, but you don't have the chips to sustain any kind of downward swing and thats pretty much your problem in MyVegas: you said you go through your chips pretty quickly so you aren't getting that sustained play that really builds up the XP and LPs

1000-1500 is a good bet. Just make sure you are harvesting your strip. That's where most of the chips come from. If you get low, stop playing. The farther along you get the easier it is to get chips.

Like a real casino, you never know where you are gonna win!

I bet really high sometimes if I have a lot of chips. Because my level up bonus is so many more LPs than actually playing to earn 1000 LPs. I find I get most of my LPs from harvesting my strip, bonuses and leveling up, not from actual play.

    chips = RED
LPs = GOLD aka the ones you redeem for stuff.
