The groupon coupon says you get the buffet and unlimited drinks. Does that include wine or just sodas?

It specifies on the groupon page wine and beer. We did it last week, the cabernet and chardonnay were quite good.

    Spice Market Buffet
Half Off International Food at Spice Market Buffet
Middle Eastern, Italian, Mexican, and Asian cuisine pair with unlimited glasses of champagne, wine, beer, or soft drinks

I was able to get Coronas in that deal. Same deal from the Mirage Buffet and they would only offer Bud Light and some other basic bargain beer. Not that Corona is some high end beer, but still, it was nice not to have to choke down BL.

The wine there at SM was nice according to my wife and MIL for being free.

I did this Groupon last month. Great deal. I had 3 Newcastle Brown Ales which were quite tasty. We had a great server. When we return in late May we have already bought another Groupon.....arriving early on a Saturday and using this as our brunch meal and first alcohol. I have done Mirage before too, was not impressed with alcohol or food selection there although I know many like it. Service though was good at Mirage.

Good to know they don't throttle you on the free drinks, I'll be doing this one in May with a Groupon.

Is the food decent at this buffet? I have read some negative reviews

The food at Spice Market is excellent. I have been eating there for years, never had a bad experience.

My wife and I have stayed at PHO since back when it was the Aladdin and have always enjoyed the buffet there. We normally just have the breakfast buffet which has always been very good. Last year I did the Total Rewards credit card that came with the 24 buffet pass and we had the dinner twice and I enjoyed it both times. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and had the great flavor.

It is very good for that level of buffet. I have been happy with it the two times I've gone there and would easily go back.

It has always been my favorite buffet in Vegas. I've eaten the lunch buffet pretty much every time I go. Was just there at the end of February and I'll never go back again. It was just terrible this time. Everything I tried was mediocre at best to downright awful. It is the first time in the history of buffets that I didn't go back and get a second plate. Very disappointing and it's certainly not worth the $26 lunch price. The place was empty at 1:30...I think that may have been a sign.

Like I said earlier this was always my favorite buffet so I ignored the negative reviews I had been reading over the past year or so, but they weren't wrong (at least not on this day). I'm very easy to please foodwise and pretty much like everything. I don't have very high food standards.

It's a great mid level buffet in Vegas for sure. One of my favorites actually :)

Taking a current survey of strip buffets, I would say this place still ranks in the top 5.

    1) Bacchanal Buffet CP ( Only due to food quality, they still have some crowd management issues)

    2) Wicked Spoon

    3) Aria Buffet

    4) Bellagio Buffet

    5) Spice Market

Now if price is an issue, they might be re-ranked. The food quality has been excellent every time I have been there, my only complaint would be desert selection has declined vs other buffets. Not enough to drop it off top 5 in my book.

We always go late for breakfast, so there are lunch items being placed out around the same time.

Not Strip people, but we have eaten here repeatedly--last time in Jan on the Harrah's TRVisa promotion for breakfast and dinner--and it has always been excellent.
