many times when you visit the casino you see the regular players betting the typical passline w/odds and a few place bet numbers.

Other times you see the guys playing the hardways and parley a couple times.

If your up money at the tables and want to add some exciting fun, bet the hardways for $5 each and parley the wins. It's gambling but it's also fun when they come in.

Hard 4 > $5 parleys to $40, then parleys to $320, then parleys to $2240.
Hard 10 > $5 parleys to $40, then parleys to $320, then parleys to $2240.
Hard 6 > $5 parleys to $50, then parleys to $500, then parleys to $5000.
Hard 8 > $5 parleys to $50, then parleys to $500, then parleys to $5000.

    Enjoy!

I rarely believe in a craps strategy that is based on total parlays. I believe the best strategy is to collect the first couple of winners and then take some profits with each win thereafter and re-invest some profits by increasing the bets.

The only exception I make is when I take a flyer and put $1 on a hardway and it hits. I then parlay the entire win. After that, I take at least half of the win into my rack and re-invest the other half on the felt.

Sure I miss out on the huge win, but more often than not, I keep alive and playing for quite a while. It allows me to limit the downside while taking increasing profits as a table gets hotter and hotter.

Thats exactly how this system is setup, on hardways it parleys the win 1 time then just double the bet and takes the winnings there after.

on the rest of the place bets it takes all the winnings but presses accordingly.

I am confused. Your original post says

It sounds like you completely parlay the first three wins so after the hardway 4 hits three times, you have a $2240 hard four on the felt and no profits in your rack. (assuming you are at a table that handles that action.)

if what you do is "parleys the win 1 time then just double the bet and takes the winnings there after" after three wins you would have $160 on the 4, not $2240.

    What am I missing?

You are right. It should read:

    Hard 4 > $5 parleys to $40, then full parleys to $320 = $2240 to your rack.
    Hard 10 > $5 parleys to $40, then full parleys to $320 = $2240 to your rack.
    Hard 6 > $5 parleys to $50, then full parleys to $500 = $5000 to your rack.
    Hard 8 > $5 parleys to $50, then full parleys to $500 = $5000 to your rack.

It's full press on each win 2 times then down or same bet.

Just the other night there was a woman new to craps that got on a lucky roll and rolled (3 Hard 6's Back to back), (2 Hard 10's Back to back), (3 Hard 8's Back to back) followed by other repeats of hardways totaling 12 hardways and 4 points just under 20 numbers rolled.

I will probably never see another shooter like her in quite some time. Made her boyfriend 23,000.00 (Cashed out 23x 1000 chips) in just 30 minutes.

Keep in mind that getting 3 hardways before a 7 is crazy hard, but two is not bad, it happens quite a lot.

I've been known to parlay my hardways, my initial bet ranges from $25 to $100 and will only parlay once, then I will take my profits. I don't recommend parlay unless you can truly afford to loose your money. It is an "entertainment" bet not a "get rich quick" bet.

You're very correct on this as being an "entertainment bet" but when you attend a live casino you will notice all the guys with racks of hundred dollar chips, they don't make them from just place bets, there are a couple of guys who strictly play the hardways for $100 minimum bet and they cashout 20k, 30k.

If you want to make the big bucks then the "hardways" are a good bet to build your bankroll fast.

I bet them all the time and I'll admit I lose a ton of money on them but when they come in, it's great to go home with 10k in my pocket after hitting a couple parleys.

Something to consider is not to bet them by themselves. Place a minimum bet on the place4, place6, place8, place10 to keep you going when they are rolled "Easy"

Not as high of a roller as the earlier post, but what I like to do is when I roll throw out $10, $2 on all the hards, $2 for the dealers, and parlay on any # hit. If you get luck enough to hit, you pocked ~200, for a $10 "investment" and just let it run.

Makes rolling the dice even more enjoyable for a $5-$10 table player.

Was out last week, and a girl who just turned 21 on her first roll rolled for an hour (dealer had it clocked) at the Quad. It was unbelievable. The table had her mom/dad/brothers/boyfriend all winning, it was definitely a vegas memory for all What is bad is she is probably ruined now for the rest of her craps career.

 It happens all the time. Just last night there was a young couple approached the craps table "with caution" girl placed $5 on the pass line and rolled 4 point firebet and tripled her $20.00 bank roll. was exciting night for her. watching her leave the table shortly after and then returning 3 more times. "She's hooked for life"

As one of those guys, I can attest that we usually make those racks with our credit lines  lol. Hardways help if you bet them and they are hitting. But there are plenty of times they don't hit. The times I have walked away from the table up a lot, it was because I guessed the correct side (pass/don't pass) over and over again. Like most table games, if you guess right and are willing to limit your time playing, you will leave the table up

I have been at the table when the hardways were very frequent but don't ever recall any one hitting 3 times in a row.

Betting $5 on the hardway and pressing after a win is plenty exciting for me, but hey I am a simple guy.

The dice can be weird at times. Last time I played (at the El-Co), I noticed how often 11 was coming up right after the shooter came out with a 7. So, I started throwing out a $2 yo every time that set-up occurred. It was strange indeed, as I hit on that bet about 7 times, before if failed 3 times in a row & I stopped.

Same thing can happen with the hard ways. I've noticed soooo many times that when the point is 6 or 8, and players are dropping bets on that hardway, the others will seem to hit....sometimes in multiples!

Yep...the dice can be weird sometimes.

Oh don't get me wrong, I to have made a ton of money on them, I also have lost a ton. If you have the money to do it then it can be a fun ride, but if you don't then I don't recommend.

I play what they call the $12/6/8 drop $4 to 64 strategy.

I start off betting 12 on each 6/8 after a win I drop 4 and make it 30 after another win I take $1 change and call 64 action with the point. After 2 wins /same bet. At this point I start to play the hardways and parley the hardways for two wins and same bet 40 or 50.

Usually every point and sometimes on the Come Out Roll. At a minimum of $25, if I see allot of hardways being thrown I will up it to $100 a number and keep pressing. I have pressed all the way to $500 hit and then parlayed the hard 10 and then hit it, took my profits down. I hit a big one ($10K) last trip (see my trip report previously posted).

    My strategy is the following:

Pass line bet: $25 (even if table min. is lower)

Full Odds on pass line bet

3 come bets with full odds

Hardways $25 min...press if feeling lucky, then parlay a hit one time

2 way 10 hopping (if tens are being thrown allot)

If Ace Deuce is thrown I will throw money down on Ace Deuce for the repeat (be surprised how many times I have hit this)

High Lo sometimes and a Yo bet for good measure if they are being thrown allot or a horn bet. These bets are just my entertainment bets....
