I hope you like it! That was the first place we stayed and I am looking forward to staying there again for March Madness.

I just walked through there last week and it felt the same to me. New carpet doesn't really change much.

That casino is dead to me anyway, with the crappy 6-5 blackjack they have now. :grrr:

The Mirage has pretty much fallen off my radar, haven't stayed or played there in years. I'll admit the craps layout looks cool but I'm a sucker for the classic green :)

Thanks for sharin' this... I always liked the property. It was the big thing in Vegas when I made my first venture there in the late 80's, they'd just opened and the attraction was incredible. I haven't been by in several years. I'll check it out next visit.

The Mirage's decor was very nice until the MILFe Brigade nuked the tropical theme in place of their generic "modern" theme throughout most Vegas casinos.

Played a lot of blackjack and poker back in the 1990s and into the 2000s, until both dried up. They still have a nice location and their buffet is decent for a mid tier price (used to get free buffets w/ 6-8 hours in poker play - plus 5 AM treats table in the room).

I hate it when they move my favorite machines around - or even worse, get rid of them. Oh well I will be able to try find them in 12 days!

Anytime I've been to the Mirage I think they need to turn up the lights? Is that me or does anyone else thinks it's too dark in there?

They say that if you show up at the club at 10:30 you get a table and a free bottle just to get the night started?! - at the 10:25ish mark of the video.

I've never heard reports like that, can anyone confirm?

I am walking over Friday night right after I get checked in at Palazzo. I will also eat breakfast at Cravings on Saturday. Just booked my MM weekend there too!

I definitely agree with this. It gives off a sleepy type of feel, like I gotta be quiet because its bedtime lol.

You are not the only one. That darkness reminds me of the Monte Carlo. That is why I don't like playing there. The high limit area is much brighter but still dark.

It was "get a free table and a bottle".
So the table is free if you get there early, but the bottle is still $1150.

That sounds like they are both free.
