Just been thinking about how often I actually drink at home, and it's maybe only once a week, and even then, it's not often I go out and get drunk. However, I can see it being an entirely different case for a lot of people when they are in Vegas.

So, how much do your drinking habits differ from home to Vegas?

I don't drink at home at 10am. But in Vegas, well, it's Vegas...

I will drink at home Friday or Saturday. Not heavy, just enough to take off the edge of the work week.

    Vegas, everyday...

Let's see..... my last (non-working) trip, a couple of bloody Mary's for breakfast, some Bud Lime-a-Rita's by the pool, a happy hour beer or two, wine with dinner, and a beers while playing BJ.

    At home, not so much.

I enjoy drinking too much to have a problem with it.

    I don't drink at home, at all...the variety I like is $$$
However, in Vegas, I drink heavily (to maximize the "comps", lol)

    Exactly the same.

I don't drink at home. When I go to Vegas I don't drink there either.

    Same here.
I never have a drink before noon at home. But when in Vegas, and first thing after an early breakfast...........I get started with a Bloody Mary or 3.
Then alternate between water and more drinks for a bit. Once the sun goes down, the drinks flow a little better.

Again, this is something I would never do at home. When in Vegas, I party like Arthur would. (Dudley Moore version) :drunk:

    I don't drink at home.

I start drinking as soon as I wake up while in Vegas. Mainly to maximize comps.

Generally I won't have more than a drink or two in a week at home. In Vegas I drink fairly steadily all day.

I drink maybe once or twice a week at home, almost always on the weekend. Most of the time just a few after a long work week.

Vegas is a different story, I wake up and start drinking and pretty much drink all day and night long. Not always to hammered drunk stage but more often than not.

    Work hard, play hard.

Vegas is one of two places where I'll drink in the morning, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna admit where the other one is.

In my college days, I could put 'em down... I continued as weekend warrior for years into my 30's, but gradually found out I needed to ease up into my late 30's. By 40, I'd decided drinking was a 4-6 times a year event for me and by 50 (I''m 55 now) my drinking is limited to my monthly Vegas visits and for only a couple hours after meetings, then up to the room. I never really cared much for daytime drinking, as I've always had trouble spacing them...

I drink heavy in casinos, when I'm staying over. Otherwise, I don't drink.

A hospital stay taught me (after I recovered from that) how much better I feel in the mornings when I don't drink.

No reason to go home yet.

I enjoy Thirsty Thursdays most every week. We drink on the weekends. We are going through a 24 part wine tasting course (on DVD) so most of the drinking we have done the past year is wine. It is a nice break from Captain Morgan. He is a rat bastard.

While standing in line to pay for our liquor and beer supplies during our first Vegas trip my son asked me if I was a closet alcoholic? I cant remember when I had beer or liquor of any kind at home but as soon as we get settled in at the hotel all bets are off when it comes to stocking up the liquor:beer: or when we hit the casinos.

I have never been a drinker. I may have one or two drinks in Vegas but typically that is it. I dont want to get intoxicated, I want to be aware of my spending and not make stupid decisions that will cost me more than I can afford.

I can go weeks at a time without drinking at home. Usually only drink when we're doing some entertaining at home, never drink while I'm out. I am usually the DD.
However, I seem to make up for it in Vegas!. I drink like it's my job. Bloody Mary's for breakfast, foo-foo-drinks by the pool, followed by 7&7's while gambling. Then maybe some Bally's for a nightcap.

As a former part-time bartender, I did enough drinking in my twenties and thirties to cover a lifetime. So I really don't drink much at all. We don't drink at home, and don't go out much. The occasional drink with the neighbors.

In Vegas, I'll usually have 2 or 3 a day.

When at home (out at a bar), I must keep track of the number of drinks per hour so as to never go over .08 BAC.
When in Vegas, I must keep track of the number of waters I have so as to never (again) allow myself to become dehydrated.

Being in Vegas, for me, is all about NOT having to be "responsible" for anything except my bankroll.
