So my wife has never had a CET card (AT ALL!)
The plan is to put 1000 tier points on her card in one day.
I'm curious who would give me better offers...Flamingo or Planet Hollywood?
(We're going to do it on Video Poker)
We've never set foot in PHo, but last year (2012) we stayed at Flamingo (in a Fab Deluxe Room) and we really liked the "vibe" (AND being dead center strip)
Anyone have any info on either property?

Its been reported extensively that CET unlike MLIFE does not base offers on where you play. I just checked by year end profit/loss and by far I had the most play at PH, however all my best offers come from Ballys and Flamingo.

CET can be an odd beast with offers/COMPS.

Is your profit/loss showing already? Mine is still 2012.

Flamingo might be slightly better for lower to middle ADT players as they have lower limit tables than PH. PH seems to think very highly of itself. Last weekend, Fri/Sat night the table I was at went from $15/hand at 10am to $25 at around 2pm to $50 at 9pm. Other than that, the casino I play at has no effect on the offers for that casino.

i was going to say it wont matter you will get offers from all and be able to use there rate calander to book what you want.

i give basicaly no play to ceasars but get 5 nites comped all the time there.

i think they just care about the play at any of there properties during your stay

I can also attest to the inconsistencies in where you play vs what offers you will receive.

On our first trip ever to Vegas my girlfriend wanted to play roulette. We ended up camping out at a wheel at the IP for several hours. I have no clue what my average bet was because I was new to the comps game & gambling world.

Soon after that the offers rolled in. I was comped at several properties (Bally's, Harrah's, Flamingo, IP, Rio & Paris). However during that trip I never played in any of those places but the IP.

In subsequent trips I played a bit at Harrah's and Bally's and would also play at Harrah's Chester (outside of Philly) and the comps stayed and eventually reached all properties except Caesar's.

Now since I haven't been to Vegas in a couple years or played at Harrah's Chester all comps have dried up as of the beginning of 2014. I had a Thanksgiving trip booked comped at Harrah's but ended up having to cancel.

I think they take into account where you play but they also match you up demographically and based on your play to where they think you belong. I think if you play on that level you will get offers from PH but don't be shocked if you get even better ones from Bally's or Rio.

Yes, I got my win/loss early this year. The only property I won at was Flamingo. I oddly enough get better offers from Caesars than PH. PH was the first property I stayed at on my first LV trip, only once did I ever have a decent enough offer to go back, but couldnt swing the days.

Does this rule apply to non-Vegas properties (i.e. comps come regardless of where you play). I am m-life platinum but have yet to receive a free night anywhere from them, and was thinking of giving a local CET casino some play hoping for an offer for my next trip.

I haven't played a Vegas based CET property in a couple of years but I can get a free room at The Quad (thanks, but no thanks):vomit:. I occasionally end up at Harrah's New Orleans (every 12 to 18 months). Got a few buffet coupons from them but the offers dried up as I haven't been back in a while. I'm busy hanging out with friends when I'm in NO. We only go to Harrah's if we're tanked and it's 3am. Got an offer for a $19 room in Bossier City though. Lucky for me, I'm from the area and my parents live in the area still. So I visited the folks for Christmas like usual and took a $19 room for one night. Played about 3 to 4 hours of craps at a $5 table. Now I have an offer for a free mid week room.
