I shall be there and will stay at the Nugget to avoid the shuttle madness on the strip.

I wouldn't be caught dead in a crowd like that, but thats cause I'm old and "had my day", BUT... GOOD FOR THEM... it looks like a blast and I'm happy it's happening in Las Vegas!!!! I hope they move a portion of it right down on Fremont and drive the "old Vegas farts" nuts!

Ha, I've been staving off oldness for some time now.

I didn't like rollercoasters now I ride any and every one. I don't care how "scary".
I didn't go to nightclubs that much except for work and now I'd go at the drop of a hat.
I wouldn't have cared for this and now I'd love to go and I'm no EDM fan.

I have a 12 and 1 1/2 year old and me and the missus get our adult time quite frequently.

The thing with EDC is its a lot younger crowd than the clubs. EDC is an 18+ event and up until a few years ago it was 16+. I was staying at PH this summer during EDC and the hotel was swamped with them and I felt like I was surrounded by high school kids. And people staying at non-casino hotels for the event may have swayed younger. I'm in my 30s and feel pretty fine around people in their mid-20s and stuff, but teenagers just look like kids to me.

I saw all these girls headed to the event in bikini bottoms, small tops, and furry boots and I hope they were at least 18, otherwise I was having some very illegal thoughts about them. :wink2:

Yeah I don't mind the younger crowd. I'd rather have them than the older crowd.

    No fun and no life.

If my group wants to go I'll go but it's doubtful at that price and due to the fact I wouldn't want to go all 3 days. I'd like more variety on my trip and not be tied down to that one event.

Hell I'd have to sleep all day.

If you want to check out EDC without breaking the bank, wait until the final day (Sunday) and buy a cheap ticket off CraigsList. There are always a TON of tickets for sale. I paid $60 for a 1-day Sunday ticket including shuttle to/from the strip at 2013's EDC.

I'm serious here. Perhaps the limo driver could facilitate helo service from the grand canyon tours for interested board members. Members of the vmb could share a helo. It would be just like Armin van Buuren‎. How much would it take per person?

    Nice.

This this time tho', there are no one day tiks.

I was thinking about going to Vegas around that time anyway. However, if I do that, I imagine hotels and clubs will be higher.

Thanks for posting this. I booked a Slot Tournament / Flamingo Go Room reservation to lock in a guaranteed comp. EDC crowds were huge a few years ago when I was there and I had trouble with Strip comps during that weekend.
