    Happy Birthday to you....
    Happy Birthday to you.......
    Happy Birrrthdayy to Electroguy..........
    Happy...Birthday....To....Youuuuuu........!!!!! :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

LOL!!! I usually spend my birthdays in Vegas lately. Couldn't go this year because of a huge Electrical construction project that I'm spearheading.

So here I am cruising VMB and wishing I was at my favorite adult playground. (Happy for all you VMBers who will be visiting mecca shortly). Good Luck to you all, by the way.

On my birthdays in Vegas I usually plan a nice dinner at a special restaurant with my significant other. Also will sneak in a show or two.

Gambling wise I play my birthdate (11) at the roulette tables and hit the yo's when playing craps. A little more so than usual. Will even play a 1 spot at Keno ( and I hardly EVER play Keno, lol!) I'll attack Mega-Bucks on my birthday and will play it first thing in the morning then again at 11 am and 11 pm.

How about you? Do you make it a point to be in Vegas on your Birthday? Anything unique and special you do besides the usual things?

    Sigh....

Happy birthday to me.... Happy birthday to me........

    :poke::poke::thumbsup:

We usually make it a point to be in Vegas for my wife's birthday in mid-Feb, just to escape winter. But this year we'll also be there for mine this Sunday!

Made arrangements for a nice dinner at Redwood us and for my two brothers & 1 SIL on Saturday.

For my birthday, I think just my wife and I at Second Street Grill after we watch the Packers game.

QB situation in Green Bay: We're down to 3rd string and he just came off the practice squad.:cry:

    Happy BD Electroguy!

Happy Birthday Electro! Have not been to Vegas for my Birthday yet. Just another reason to book a trip to add to the list of reasons! Mine being in July, tends to be the hottest time out there so not usually our favorite time to go. Your Bday present to yourself should be booking the next trip and getting it on the books so you have it to look forward to along with an extra special night out for you guys since you have extra time before the trip! Anticipation is a great gift in it self. Either way enjoy the day and many more to you!

Joe, Don't be to bummed about GB either, Tolzien moved them pretty well for the most part against my Eagles, he just couldn't close the deal a couple of redzone opportunities.

    Happy Bday Electroguy!!

I have never been to Vegas on or near my birthday but I do hope to do so in the future.

Hypothetically, if it were my bday, I would try to do all the things I love most.

I would stay at Quad, go to any Strip spa or go to the pool at Rio, eat BBQ at Ellis Island, and watch MJOne (I have not watched it yet), Celine Dion (have not seen her yet in Vegas) or Jersey Boys (amazing show). As for playing, I would go play slots at Bellagio, Wynn, Encore or Aria with no particular time limit and not necessarily for the play but because of the ambiance.

There is one thing I forgot to mention that I will do on my birthday. I'm cashing out 500,000 ($500) B Connected points and those will go into either 100 play, 5 cent VP DDB, or a $5 single line DDB.

No guilt play, we earned them. Every time we go over 2 million points we do this. This time it timed out for my birthday!

Thanks for the Birthday wishes, gang. I can't believe I started a thread like this, I know I'm kinda bummed about not being able to go to Vegas on my birthday. It was all in fun, though, and just thought if anyone else here makes it a point to be in Vegas on their birthday.

Joe, I liked the 2nd St. Grill the first time my wife and I tried it. Redwood and now 2nd St. are our favorite places to eat when Downtown. I like that idea of cashing in your points, I might do that on my birthday visits although I don't even come close to how much you have. I might have to wait a while to make it worthwhile.

Tbone 3336, thanks for making me feel a bit better. I agree booking a future trip will at least make me look forward to it but what makes me sad is the earliest would be late March, and I'm already jonesing to go already. (Fricken job....):poke:

Sco5123, you haven't seen Celine yet? Make it a point on your next trip, you'll be glad you did. I didn't think I would like it but came out a Celine fan!

Oh well, thanks for the kind words, gang, I'll go book my trip now.....:drunk::thumbsup:

My birthday is in March and I'm usually there a couple weeks before my bday. This March was the first time I've actually been there on my bday. It was a frickin blast! Went to the speedway and drove a Ferrari, went to the Rhino and got lots of lap dances, and went to Absinthe.

Going again next year with about 10 friends, really looking forward to that one.

For the last few years, its been a tradition for me to be in Vegas, usually with my mom. One year we had an awesome VMB meetup/birthday party for UKFanatic and I- we share the same birthday. Another year we did an elaborate dinner. This year we did a spa day. Before this, from my 22-29th birthdays I never did anything at all that was "special" so its a big improvement!

    Happy birthday, Electroguy!

I've never been to Vegas on my birthday. Unfortunately, my b-day falls right around New Years. And due to a chronic case of misanthropy, I'm unable to be in Vegas over NYE.

However, next year I'll be celebrating my 40th (is "celebrating" the right word when it's one's 40th?) around the same time my kid sister will be celebrating her 30th. So we're starting to kick around ideas for a "the(family)carve milestone birthday bash" in Vegas. :drunk:

Happy belated birthday - My anniversary is 11-11-11. I think it's a great day!

My two friends and I are heading out for my belated (12/3) and one on travel day (12/12) birthdays - I expect we will have a spectacular time - I do so love Vegas!

On the birthday note, I am planning a trip for December 2014 for my daughter's 21st and my 50th - now that one will be epic!!!

    Happy birthday Electroguy!

I understand you being bummed as I always spend my birthday in Vegas. DH knows not to ask me anymore what I want to do for my birthday....we're staying at Wynn and having dinner at SW Steakhouse with some fabulous wine. And yes, I always play the Megabucks on my birthday too.....never hit it yet though. The rest of the birthday day is just gamble my brains out at video poker and hope for that elusive royal flush!

Hope you had a great birthday.

LOL!! I had to look up misanthropy.......

I think if I was in Vegas during NYE I'd probably get a case of misanthropy myself.:poke:

"The (family)carve milestone birthday bash" in Vegas. I like it. Do it! And don't forget to write a Trip Report!:thumbsup:

I've only done one birthday in Vegas. That was my first visit to Vegas as an adult on the weekend of my 21st birthday and that was a long, long time ago. No one ever carded me for gambling in the casinos but I did get carded at the bars. And each time when they saw that it was my birthday, I was told that my drinks were on the house. I went with a high school buddy and it was a great trip.

Hope you had a nice birthday, Electroguy.

I have a conference in Vegas that normally coincides with my birthday (how convenient!). A couple years back, we did a cabana at the adult pool at The Rio with a bunch of friends. The attached photo is me posing with the bachelorette party that landed near our cabana. And my wife took the picture! I finished the night by doing the Sky Jump off the Stratosphere . LOTS of alcohol involved. What an awesome day from start to finish!

You have a wonderful understanding Wife. Very nice picture!:wink2:

A Sky Jump off The STRAT is crazy! In my younger days I might've tried it after a case of beer or two...but now? I don't think so... Congrats on having the courage to do that!

With more than 50+ trips to LV, I have never been there on my birthday in July. That is going to change in 2014 for my 60th because I'm planning to ride a bicycle from Phoenix and pedaling into town on my birthday.
