Caesar's by the sportsbook was suprisingly laid back for us low rollers. I'm sure the paytables sucked, but the bartenders didn't care about max bet on the .25 machines and I think it even had quarter BJ on it. So free premimum drinks while only betting a quarter and lots of TVs on sports. Worked for me. Quad was OK, but it really depended on the bartender. Service was either great or they were more interested in their "flair". Paytables crappy as well.
Best Quad story was we saw a guy buy a gal a beer and then take it back and walk off after the converstation didn't go so well. Bartender got ticked and had security hunt him down and grill him. That was some funny stuff.

Agree with Caesars sportsbook, it's fun. I like Bugsy's in Flamingo and Gustav's in Paris. Always have a good time at those places.

I like the sportsbook bar at PHo. Its strangely tucked away between the casino floor and the book. I have always found the servers to be quick with the comped drinks and I find it to be a good place to relax and play some low level VP

I had heard mention of a VP bar inside Quad that serves some good craft beers. Any idea?

I've always liked Gustav's in Paris. Nice people seem to gather there & the bartenders are great. Pay tables are not good at strip properties so really go just to enjoy myself and get really good drinks. Actually have had pretty good luck on these machines and also the bar at Bally's by the Keno area.

I'm a fan of bartenders more than the actual bar. Sullys is the best with James and Leland during the day and Donny at night. Love those guys.

I totally agree with you. Love James and Leland, and really all the bartenders at Bally's. A big part of the reason we continue to stay there is the atmosphere at both Sully's and the Casino bar, and how good the service is.

Another vote for Sully's. Rick is my favourite bartender there.

Well you all beat me to the punch. Another vote for Donny and Rick at Sullys! Dont forget my man Po at the Book Bar in Ballys as well.

As for other CET Bars I enjoy the Seahorse Bar at Caesars, the X-Bar at Flamingo and Gustavs at Paris.

Yeah, they have ~20 beers on tap. My favorite is Dogfish 90-minute IPA and as of September they comped it. Problem is I liked it so much, I forget all what else they had...Sierra Nevada at least and then after that, um.... But with 20 taps...some of them have to be craft, right? :evillaugh But as far as draft beer selections go, that place is one of your better choices for CET. The bartenders are pretty friendly, the only drawback is the "Dealertainers" with their loud, not-so-great singing are nearby.

Gustav's at Paris is not a bad place either, they also usually have Sierra Nevada and a few other crafty beers on tap. I get great service there, and the view of the table dancers in the evening can't be beat. If you like a quiet place, and want to try a local brew, Sin City Brew Co. at flamingo is also good choice. They have bar tops so you can get your beer comped, but the bar is off the actual gaming floor.

I can't believe I forgot about this place last month on my 2 trips. This looks like the place :
    http://www.thequadlv.com/things-to-do/catalyst-bar.html

Click on the menu and at the bottom is a list of beers. Looks like the 90 minute may be the only star attraction but well worthy of the designation.

    best CET bar

Boy, Bally's is popular. We really like Wayne at the Casino bar by the Keno area. Also enjoy Rick, James, Leland, Mary, Donny and others at Sully's. Rick makes the best Caesar, James the best French Martini, and Mary the best Chocolate Expresso Martini. Best place to try different drinks.

I just got back yesterday, and Sully's was good to me. Great bartenders, and I hit 4A with kicker and 4 dueces with kicker at the bar. I will definately be back there next month.
