MyVegas Anyone completed the Halloween Puzzle?

I'm sure a few of you blew through it in no-time. I'm still scratching away at it.

I'm not bothering with it. Rebuilding my chip stack after blowing through it during double XP weekend seems to be a better use of time.

 

After playing daily for months I'm burnt out and would rather play for shorter times via BJ. By doing some of the puzzle you'll typically get a mailer with free chips. So I play but I don't waste chips to complete the puzzle, because I can easily level via BJ. Having chips for double XP days is always great as well.

 

DH is playing the game at home-it looks like we have only two to go for the 70,000 chips. Along the way, we have earned a lot of loyalty points, so I feel it is worth it. Last week during double xp we blew through 5 levels. Really prefer the double xp, but this type of challenge runs 2nd. Absolutely hate it when the special is the sweepstakes.

 

strange enough im stuck at 19/25 of the last piece of the puzzle(70.000 chips) for the last few days....tried evrything rebooting pc deleting cache but it just wont go anymore pfff craps!!!

I hoard chips instead of playing during those quests. The effort isn't worth the amount of chips you "win".

Give me a Double XP weekend and I will blow through all my chips then. I like leveling up!

 

I completed today, but I got 100k chips for final piece. I cleaned up on the megastars game, went from 29k to 329k. Had to stop today cause maxed out lp earning.

That means wife and I will be a little short of finishing it.

 

Had incredible luck with the MGM megastar slots. Played at 2000 / spin, hit 5 times for a total of 300k...enough to complete the Puzzle in 3 hours

 

The more you bet the quicker it comes? Or is it just random?

i finished this, started with about 300k chips, ended up pretty close to the same after the bonus pay.

 

Are you sure about that? The thing just says 1 day so I was hoping I would still be able to finish it tomorrow. I just ran out of chips at 19/25 on the last piece. I thought I would have no problem finishing it tonight. The other puzzle type games all went really quickly for me - and I ended up with at least as many chips as I started - but this one has really kicked my butt, especially tonight. If I had gotten the 70K it would still be quite a bit less than where I started - but at least would still be in the game.

 

usually it runs down in hours the last day so i don't think that is the right time.

Not even close to finishing it. This will be the first time i have not completed a challenge. I blew threw at least 300k coins but have been getting crappy amounts on the wheel for the last month (everyone seems to be under the consensus they changed things) so do not have the normal coins to bet with.

 

I clicked on the witch last night and the countdown had just a few hours left for me.

 

Basically yes. The amount of XP you need to complete it depends on your player level. My friend was betting 200/spin and got the "crowd" part of his puzzle done in about 15 minutes, whereas I bet 1000 and it took me about half an hour of solid play to get the same.....All for 1000 chips lol

 

i finished it yesterday easy within 30 minutes (whole puzzle)...

did went up from ~500k to ~800k during that time...
