    Hi guys,
I was playing at GVR this week. I hit the elusive 4 of a kind.(I seem to .thinget one eery 10 years ) I got paid 750 for my three $5 bets and 5 for my 3 card and nothing for my$1 side bet.Turns out their paytable pays only from 3OAK to a straight . (60.00 for a straight) nothing for flush full house or 4OAK then it pays for a 3card royal with different payouts for the suits. If you got it in spades you won the progressive which was 3300.00 at the time.

Ive never seen a paytable like this anywhere . I feel cheated out of $400.00.Steve

Steve... that sounds just like the 'standard' $1 progressive bonus paytable for 3-Card poker tables.

My guess is that this is what you were betting on.
They can't pay on 4OAK or full house because, well, it's impossible to get one of those with your first 3 cards.

If you ever see a brilliant, old-school dealer at GVR named Andy - say hello to him from all his old fans at Ellis Island.

I've never heard of the $1 LIR bonus not paying for any hand above a straight. That sounds like an insane bastardization of the game. I would definitely not play the game and I would complain to the casino management. -- Lorna

Yep...the bet you were making was based on your own cards only and not the dealer's. And a $3,300 jackpot...ugh. If you were playing at a full table at the time, it's a 26% house edge bet. It turns positive at about $10,000. But sadly, I think I saw lower at one of my local casinos today.

no ,the dollar bet in let it ride is for your final 5 card hand in every casino
there is a seperate 3 card bet which pays from a pair to a mini royal.
no other casino in vegas has this paytable for the 1$ bet
