Hello all; I'll be in Vegas (first timer!) October 23 - 27. Is there anywhere to watch football? The English variety that is? Can't miss my footie! Cheers; Gruff007
Pretty much any sportsbook will have a game that is nationally televised in the United States. Otherwise I would try MGM Grand or Las Vegas Hotel.
Go to a sports and Racebook even if the games aren't on the big screen you should find them on one of the channels on the personal tv's.
If you are talking about the BPL games, those start at 6-9AM Las Vegas time... On one hand their won't be much on TV for them to compete with, so getting them to put your game on the main screen with sound shouldn't be a problem. But on the other hand, a lot of the sports books don't open until 8AM so if you are looking to catch one of the early games there might not be anybody there to change the channel for you.
the league is shown by NBS so any self respecting bar should have the games on. however the channels may vary and from what I've worked out so far if its not on NBC or NBC sports then its only available online - and I don't know who in vegas is streaming online to TV's. if you have to watch then check this schedule out first - shows the game and what tv channel. if its on nbc extra - that's online. your best bet is either the crown on Tropicana or the irish pub next to the Orleans (does a good fry up too!. always call the check they are showing the game. first the site to check.. http://www.livesoccertv.com/schedules/ it is pretty accurate but may not get updated until a couple of days before the game. the early and late Saturday games but one of the sunday afternoon ones are normally shown on tv..
If you ask at the sportsbook the day before the match you want to watch, they will be able to let you know if they are screening it. We've watch the footy in lots of different casinos. If not, go with Mikenhe's suggestion, but be aware that C&A (and McMullan's) is off strip and they sometimes charge $20 entrance fee to watch the games. http://www.crownandanchorlv.com/ http://www.mcmullansirishpub.com/index.shtml
+1 on the Crown and Anchor... that place ALWAYS has soccer on the TV's and a sizable group of folks watchin' and rootin'.
